Kitchen service was more than an hour at 5.30PM. Food was lack lustre given the prices other than the Ceasar Salad which was quite exceptional. Server Olivia was very kind and attentive which is the only reason I gave service 4-stars. Second floor diners have to go down to the basement to use the washroom. I can't recommend this place. For a restaurant with their $$$$ prices, the food and service does not reach that level by any means.

The steaks were like boot leather. We ordered two 12 oz ribeyes and they were 6 oz of fat. The cook on the steaks were not right, I have seen thicker minute steaks. The fries were tasteless and soggy, paying $3.00 for garlic fries was a waste. Our first experience there was good but I don’t think we will return.

The Taste Around Kamloops menu is incredible value. The chefs have gone all out to present unique dishes: smoky bacon sauce over steamed mussels; tiramisu heaped with powdered chocolate and whipped cream; perfectly baked stuffed potatoes topped with cheese; a feather light mushroom risotto to name a few of many choices. Until February 8 at $45 per person. There's real talent in this kitchen!

Always a very enjoyable experience. Was slightly disappointed the prime rib was sold out but the peppercorn mushroom sirloin was a fantastic substitute. Perfectly tender when cooked medium rare, and of course the mushroom risotto is the best accompaniment.
