Come often we we always have a good experience. Tonight there was mix up with food but our server Justin who we've had before was excellent took care of us and we left with a full belly and some great memories! ?

So I waited far too long to write this review but after taking my $12 Walmart steak out of the air fryer it reminded me of my $99 Wagyu steak attempt at twisted steak.. may 2023 I was visiting for a work function and went looking for a nice meal. Landed at the twisted steak near to my hotel. Ordered a fantastic yet a little strong old fashioned and picked my meal. Landed on the $99 snake River farms Wagyu steak. Ordered medium rare, waited through a second and third drink for it to arrive.. eventually I was presented with a steak, potatoes and some greens. Cut into my steak to find it cooked quite nicely on one side and blue on the other. I made the bartender aware and she promptly looked at my steak. To my surprise the head cook was on his day off having a drink to my right hand side who was noticeably angry over the quality of my food. It was taken back and I was later presented with my same steak minus the area I had cut off to inspect, cooked to a fine well done.. grey all the way through and dry as dirt. I stated I was no longer interested in my food ate my potatoes and paid my tab. The chef to my right got up and cooked me a steak to take home it was done promptly and handed to me in a to go box my meal was comped .. I would love to tell you how that second steak tasted but I fairly quickly discarded of it and never bothered to eat it as I was completely disinterested. Waiting staff was awesome and she was very pleasant during the whole ordeal. I ended up tipping her the price of the steak. Good place for a strong old fashioned otherwise I'll never return.

Great atmosphere. Very good service. Beautiful building with wide spiral staircase. Bathrooms lower level, lounge main & dining room upper. Food very good (was a bit salty for me & sirlon a bit under asked doneness). Drinks were awesome. Prices are higher but it's a steak house type so typical.
Overall highly recommend for a fancy night out.

3 of us. Steak was good, fish was dry to the point of being a wood chip. Waitress got a new fish, it was just as dry and over cooked. Chicken was burned on the bottom and edges. Moral being, only order steak at a steak house.

There is a reason this is the most recommended place to eat in Kamloops. The building has great atmosphere, the service was great, and the food was absolutely the best I've had in quite some time Both meals and desserts were perfect, and the homemade truffle fries were incredible I'll definitely be stopping here again next time I come through

The meal was poorly presented. A cob of corn is not a vegetable you would think to get at an upscale restaurant. It is a BBQ vegetable. The meat was not cooked to the degree asked for. Service was very good.

Finally found some time to head over to Twisted Steak, after some really happy clients of mine recently recommended it.
Here’s how it went. Service was absolutely incredible: Justin was the perfect mix of attentive, while providing space. Ambiance?. Historic train station turned restaurant. Super cozy spaces. Private. Comfortable seating. Soft lighting.
Likely one of the best non alcoholic drink menus I’ve ever explored. Lots of thought and detail went into these bevvies. My picks?. The strawberry rhubarb lemonade, the soft sangria, and the untwisted ceaser.
Steak was the obvious choice. Ribeyes. Cajun. Rare. Appy was lobster gratin.
The icing on the cake?. The churro doughnut at the end.
Great experience here. Very much appreciated a night rare night out. Thank you to the staff that made our visit memorable.

This is the second time we have been to Twisted Steak. The first time we had peppercorn steak and pistachio crusted salmon. We enjoyed both of those meals so thought we would return for our 45th anniversary. This time we had NY Steak and Prime Rib. The first thing that was off was the "seasonal vegetables" that was just corn on the cob. Everyone eats corn on the cob all August every time they bbq, I don't expect it at a steak house. That was definitely sub par. My husband's steak was full of fat and gristle and very salty. My prime rib was good but I found the stuffed potatoe very gummy. Overall just not worth the cost.

Disappointed. Were out for a special occasion on a Saturday night and Twisted was a letdown. Service was so-so, tomahawk steak was ordered medium rare and came nearly well done (way over-cooked), and the place was practically empty. Sadly we won’t be back.

We decided to try Twisted Steak and the food and staff were so attentive. Olivia was our waitress and she was wonderful! Checked on us to verify our food was to our liking. My husband had the blackened chicken and I had the Mediterranean Haddock both dishes were so delicious! Topped off dinner with chocolate cake. We will definitely be back
