Awesome food , brisket was so good buffet was great choice

Best poutine, all the meat is so tender. Our family loves coming in, especially on cold nights like tonight.

Had lunch and it was great. Good food and service. We will be back!

Not safe to eat here if you are pregnant. Ordered the chicken and it was served completely cold along with the beans and Mac and cheese. The coleslaw was also brown. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize the chicken was cold and took a bite. I’m 9 months pregnant so not good. I called to try to find out when the meat was cooked and the manager was demeaning and trying to convince me that it’s fine to eat cold chicken. Unfortunately, no it’s not safe to eat cold meat when you are pregnant a simple google search could tell you that. It wasn’t until after, that I looked at the reviews and serving cold food seems to be a common issue here.

Edit to reply to comment: I didn’t make this review to make you mad and I wasn’t mad either just very concerned about the health of my baby. I’m sorry you are so offended but I just felt that people, particularly pregnant women, should be aware of the listeria risk. Smoked meat isn’t an issue unless it’s raw like smoked salmon.

I was not lying when i said that my sides were cold too. I just didn't mention it when i called the owner because it wasn’t as much of a concern. The only reason I called was to find out when the meat had been cooked because, like I said, I was very worried. However, the owner was very argumentative when I called. Clearly had no regard for the health and safety of his customers.

The reason I didn’t want to eat buffet food is because it’s not recommended for pregnant women either. I didn’t know it was such an inconvenience to get fresh food made but I would have rather just gone somewhere else than be a pain by ordering off the menu all I did was ask if I could order off the menu. They could have just said no.

I didn’t ask for the food to be reheated because I no longer felt safe to eat there. Which isn’t a big issue to me. I was just going to grab food from somewhere else.

Finally, i did not take or ask to take any food home. Thats just a complete lie.

I went in with my folks for dinner a few nights ago and it was amazing as always. The brisket burger is one of the best I've had and service was on point. Meal portions are huge. If you've been sleeping on this place then you should really get in there and give it a shot.

Not only that however; I want to thank you and your staff personally for your amazing service. You have no idea the peace of mind you gave me/us when you just simply did your part to make everything go smoothly for our reception without me or anyone having to direct you. The food was delicious and still warm “one of my big concerns” and an amazing variety that pleased everyone. I did see you stick around to assist with dealing with the leftovers and again want you to know I feel you went above and beyond and absolutely came through with your promises.

Your expertise on the recommended amount of food that would work for 100 guests was bang on! Hope and Lane were thrilled to have “just the right amount “ of leftovers that they gladly took home.

Have eaten there a few times and was there tonight for a fundraiser and had a great meal! The servers were crazy busy but super friendly! The buffet for the fundraiser wasn’t their usual buffet choices and was definitely tailored to more family friendly with things like hotdogs and fries for kids but was still enjoyable! Lots of dogs on the patio for the four paws fundraiser which was really fun! And a silent auction and some vendors set up! Love supporting this business already but love it even more when they do charity events like this! Will be back again and again!
