They got great tasting very filling Ramen and killer tunes to boot! This is a great Ramen spot. Been to Kamloops a few time since and have managed to stop by twice.
I travel around alot, I make an effort to eat as healty as possible. You cannot go wrong with Ramen.
Ive tried several of their dishes. So far the Black bean Chili Ramen w/green beans was the Best combo for me. (Photo)

Really delicious. Sad it’s not easier to substitute items in a ramen. But love the vegan options they have. Have gone back many times.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan options are always great to see. Love the spicy one!

OMG! What happened to you Wakayama, this used to be the best ramen place in Kamloops. Ordered from Skip as usual, broth is tasteless, noodles have changed and are all congealed in a lump, chashu still tasted ok but overall it was just terrible. I don't even want to eat it, but I will because it was expensive. This makes me sad. I won't ever be ordering from them again, it was a severe disappointment ?

Really great ramen place if you have a bit of extra money and want to hace an outing for yourself or with friends. While more expensive than somewhere like Ramen Time, the money does get you a little extra. However, the value compared to other ramen places I've been to is why I have to give it a 4 stars. However, do not get me wrong it is still very good value.
For my meal, I went with friends and ate edamame and gyoza/dumplings for appies and found them really good. The edamame was a little saltly for my liking but everyone is different and was 100% delicious, and the gyoza was hot and great. For my main, I got the miso ramen without the green onions and with a hard boiled egg substitution. I foubd the actual ramen, miso broth and pork really delicious, but the hard boiled egg was not as boiled as I like it and the yolk was still a little too yolky for me. Otherwise would 100% get again just with soft boiled with the yolk mixed in.
TL;DR Really good if you have the extra money. Nice enough atmosphere but slightly out of the way location, though, it does have free parking. Overall 9/10.

Ordered on skip, no fork or spoon to each with. And I asked for fork and spoon. Nke everyone order from home you guys. So annoying as am hungry but do not have anything to eat with. And will have to wait until I get home which by that time good will be cold.

Black Garlic Ramen was terrible, no flavor at all. Could not even eat a 1/4 of it. The other items were good.

Delicious broth, generous portion and Tia gave a great recommendation- black garlic chicken. We’ll be back!
Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved it! But they couldn’t finish the huge bowls.

This ramen spot is easily the best ramen in Kamloops. The service is friendly and fast and the food is amazing. The spicy ramen was absolutely delicious. The chicken karaage and gyoza were really good too. Definitely will be back again.
So, let’s say you are in your mid thirties and you think your tastes buds have seen it all. But then, on a regular Tuesday after the gym, you decided to stop by Wakayama and get a ramen bowl because you are just feeling it.And then, you life changes and you are planning 2 weeks soup trip in Japan. It’s a new flavorful day.
