White Spot North Kamloops

The staff and manager were extremely rude and openly racist. We were refused service because we are Native and brown, while a white couple sitting right next to us was served immediately. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and shameful.

If you want food made wrong by people who don't understand you or listen properly, this is the place for you. Not sure if they're getting TFW hire money from the government but this is hand down the worst White Spot I've ever been to.

Drinks took 12 mins to order. They came with the first trip of food. The 2nd trip was 6 mins later. No refills on drinks because she never came around.

$120 for a Truly awful dining experience

Ordered the homestyle pot roast dinner. Extremely disappointed with this. The amount of meat was literally 3 bites. The mashed potatoes were stuffed inside a horrible excuse of a Yorkshire pudding. This was $28. Also ordered 2 turkey dinners and the portion size was just as small, and about the same price too. Not ordering from this location again. How can they justify such crazy prices for such extremely small portion sizes.

Online, restaurants says, opens at 7 AM. Got to the restaurant at 7 AM because I was staying in the hotel attached to it. Asked server what time the restaurant would open was told in a few minutes. When server opened restaurant I wasn't seated so I sat myself, Was given a drink menu instead of a food menu. Server almost seemed pissed off that I was at the restaurant. Was never really asked what I wanted to order. I basically just asked her if I could order, as I was still eating my breakfast, I was asked if I wanted any more coffee before I left. Overall experience at this particular white spot seemed very tense and hostile.

I stood at the door for more than 5 minutes before anyone asked me If I had been helped. I told the first person I had an online order and they told me okay and just left me again. I mentioned I had to go to the bathroom, (and a key was required), without really telling me anything just left me alone again. After I was able to lock eyes with the server again, she told me to just give her a minute because she was busy. When she finally came back I walked me to the bathroom but she also gave me my food to bring along.

I definitely would have preferred to get my food after I came out of the bathroom! I already had to wait for my food, When I ordered it online as we were passing through the town on a road trip. What should have been a 10 minute wait turned into a 25 minute wait, And a long way to go to washroom. Therefore, each minute I waited felt like an eternity.

I ordered zoo sticks, which I always love to get while I'm in BC, But these were also subpar to my memory. The batter on them was barely present, on two sides at the most. And even then, I can barely say it was on two sides. I don't know if these were made wrong or if the recipes changed because of shrinkflation but I was disappointed all the way around. I was speaking very highly of these to my boyfriend who never had them and without the batter, they were very mushy. I will give them another chance in the future however if this is a new recipe it will no longer be a must stop when I see one of these stores.

Unwelcoming to diners who aren't staying at the hotel

We've both been eating at Whitespot Restaurants for over fifty years. Unfortunately, the only thing edible this evening was the zucchini sticks. The meat, mushrooms, fries and gravy were extremely salty. We were very disappointed. It all went into the garbage except the zucchini sticks. We didn't want to walk back to the restaurant. This was a pickup order. We did not eat there. Please ease up on salting food Whitespot. We will take a break from your restaurant for a while.

Waited over 30 min for a coffee. It was cold when it arrived. Ordered 2 meals at the same time. Got one...35 min later...still waiting for the other. THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!

Had a 1 star review posted and manager was super nice and delt with our problem so now they get a 3 star food was alright definitely needs work service was awesome 👌

If you have a toddler or are short on time this is not the place to bring your child. It took close to 90 minutes to try to order some food and get it to the table and the place was not busy. 3 staff for 5 tables. Honestly a very bad showing especially for 8 AM.

A really nice place! Had no idea there was a White Spot here on the North shore. 6 of us for my Mom's 90th birthday. Every entre we ordered was very well prepared and presented. Our lovely server Sun (apologies if I mispelled)was lovely. Say this every time! Should have taken pix! Excellent food. Especially my salmon burger with a side salad. Milkshakes omg so good. A feast. Desserts all the way around & awesome too. Thanks folks! We'll be back.

Ordered take out.. legendary burger far from legendary, 2 flat dry buns with a skinny frozen limp patty with some sauce ejaculated on top slapped together with a box of romaine lettuce, 2 croutons and very very little parm cheese with a splattering of generic Caesar salad dressing in a tiny cup.. I would’ve taken a pic but too disgusted to even look at it again.. thrown in garbage, did not eat..
