Really lovely grounds and extremely knowledgeable staff make this a very cool stop! A working mill of this type and vintage is very difficult to find. The leader of the mill restoration is on site to explain every detail of this historical treasure and beyond. The site also has a small museum with more self guided exhibits to put you in mind of the life and times of those who built it and operated it. Take a trip to the pioneering times of the 1880s in BC.
An unexpected delight.Beautiful site, thoughtfully laid out gardens. Lots to sketch and paint (if that's what you like).Enthusiastic owners who are passionate about the oasis they have created.Light, fresh fare for lunch.I could have spent hours there.

Grist Mill and Gardens is an Okanagan treasure. We went early before a Sunday long table dinner to explore the grounds. So much history, beautiful gardens and the friendliest staff. The long table dinner is $35 (tax included) - an unbelievable bargain. Six-course meal, fresh ingredients, many right from the gardens - anywhere else would cost you upwards of $100 easy. Chris, the GM and chef, is absolutely delightful, and his staff are so friendly.
