Went to charcoal to see my buddy play. The bartender was BearY attentive with the whole place, quickly refilling drinks, running food, taking away empty dishes. Kudos to you Bro.

Went in for a burger and a beer post golf
Had a very tasty burger, server was kind and attentive on the lounge side both for food, drink and putting on the game. Atmosphere is dated and could use some additional up keeping to really enhance the business. Prices reasonable but not amazing. Recommend lounge side over dining side.

Awesome food! Everything we ordered was made from scratch and very fresh and flavourful. Will definitely come back next time we are in Kimberley.

Today was our first time to Charcoal restaurant. On Fridays they have a buffet of Indian food, with many different choices. Everything that I had was very good fresh. My daughter ordered a burger with fries. She was very pleased with the amount of fries and the size of the burger. The service was fantastic, we will definitely be back.

We were the only people there for Sunday brunch. Our omelettes took 35 minutes to cook and weren’t very good. Even the toast was sub-par. Super confusing menu and nothing really sounded that great. We won’t go back.

Brisket sandwich with dried up chewy brisket not worth the $20 price. Steak sandwich which was over cooked. Waitress was cold and didn't say much. The place looked nice but I will never go back. Very unimpressed with the food and service, $68 and left hungry, and felt ripped off.

We were in the area and looking for a good Indian restaurant with vegetarian menu . We found charcoal and menu looked okay to begin with . We ordered veg biryani , masala fries and paneer masala combo . It was delicious. Quantity of biryani was really extra large and it was more than any other place that I have ordered . Biryani was double the size and delicious. Highly recommend the place. Met the chef and told him about the good food that he made as we didn’t expect a lot in the area .

Was excited to try the food after seeing a FB advertisement. Drove all the way there to try the burger. I wouldnt call it a sports bar with just a TV on the wall playing sports. The burger was way over cooked and dry. The service wasnt good at all and for the first time ever I never left a tip. I wouldn't recommend try burgers here. I gave it a 2 star only because the fries were good.
Also, didn't like seeing one of the older gentlemen that I assume worked there scooping from the buffet and eating out of his hands. Not very sanitary.
