Abysmal service. Walked in. No server or host to seat us or signage to tell us to grab a table. We waited there 2 mins trying to catch someone's eye because we wanted to sit outside and check whether we would get service outside or had to order at the counter. All servers were busy, no one had their eye on the door. We sat down at the bar, hoping that we'd be under their nose so would get their attention. Nope! Waited there 5 minutes and waved our hand several times to get the bartenders attention. Two of them, 6 ft away and neither of them came to greet us or even let us know that they'll be with us in a minute. When Kim finally showed up, no pleasantries, nothing - what will you have? I would usually appreciate the straightforwardness but given how long it took anyone to even give us the time of day, this was appalling.
Add to the fact, every single person after that was greeted pleasantly by the bartenders. Guess they just didn't like our faces.
Food and drink were great. Props to the kitchen.

The food here was amazing for the price. Would expect higher prices being on the hill but no. Service was a little slow for my tastes but could just be a more "relaxed atmosphere" of a ski hill. Live music also isn't my thing but I just sat around the corner and had a great time. The jalepeno jelly burger was SO good. And Waffle cut fries...... mmmmmm

Visited this restaurant for a kids' lunch break during a skiing day. They had a decent kids' menu, and my kids really liked the pizza, fries with chicken, and big cups of hot chocolate with marshmallows. Keep in mind this place is super busy from 12 till 1:30.

I walked in spilled a full cup of water everywhere and they still served me.Had a few buckets of Corona apres ski. Chicken club was prettt good. Buffalo chicken wrap was very good.Live music. Great apres ski vibes.Highly recommend

The Stemwinder was a fantastic place to order takeout for our U15 hockey team. Shawna was absolutely amazing to work with and was very organized and had the food delivered to the Kimberley Civic Centre. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch! Highly recommend it! ?️?

We look forward to coming here every year!We’ve been coming for the past 17 years and always have a great time!The service is always very good, and they are accommodating since there are usually a few of us that don’t ski, but we will hold a table for the rest that do.Joanna has been our server for the past 15 years, and you’ll never get anyone more attentive and fun! She’s great, we always try to sit in her section when we can!We did another shot ski this year!
