In my opinion, this is the best place to eat in town. Not only is the food phenomenal, but the service is friendly, relaxing and efficient and the atmosphere is SO nice. Their Iced Vanilla Breve is to die for and I was seriously SO impressed with our visit today. Thank you so much you guys!

After a disappointing experience elsewhere in town, we walked into The Hourglass in Kimberley BC hoping for better—and they absolutely delivered. I asked the host if they could accommodate our group of ten, and without hesitation she offered us a high-top and even pulled over another one to make room. She made sure our older family members had seats with backs and had the entire table set up before I even made it outside to let the rest of my group know we were good to go.
The atmosphere was chic and welcoming, with a touch of class that still felt comfortable and family-friendly. And the food? Spectacular. We had tacos, a fresh and flavorful flatbread, and loaded nachos that disappeared almost instantly. The drinks were equally impressive and beautifully presented.
It’s clear that this team values hospitality and knows how to make every guest feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great service, delicious food, and a memorable dining experience in Kimberley!

Terrific kitchen and bar in the Kimberley platzl. We shared beef taco and vegetarian 'charcuterie' plates and they were both delicious. Nice ambience, good wait staff, we'll definitely be back.
Breanna and Ella (and Brooke) run a brilliant cocktail bar in Kimberley BC where you can negotiate your perfect cocktail (dry martini or Manhattan for me) at the bar and watch it being created while you snack on delicious bites. The perfect place to start your evening in Kimberley, we will definitely be back again in 2026.

What a great little place! You should stop in and check this place out when in Kimberley. It's near the museum/library end of the Spokane strip. It has a warm, relaxed and unpretentious feel inside. One of the owners was behind the bar that evening, mixing up their creative cocktails. The kitchen was turning out amazing looking food, and we really enjoyed the pesto chicken flatbread and rizo pork tacos. We will be back!
