After a disappointing experience elsewhere in town, we walked into The Hourglass in Kimberley BC hoping for better—and they absolutely delivered. I asked the host if they could accommodate our group of ten, and without hesitation she offered us a high-top and even pulled over another one to make room. She made sure our older family members had seats with backs and had the entire table set up before I even made it outside to let the rest of my group know we were good to go.
The atmosphere was chic and welcoming, with a touch of class that still felt comfortable and family-friendly. And the food? Spectacular. We had tacos, a fresh and flavorful flatbread, and loaded nachos that disappeared almost instantly. The drinks were equally impressive and beautifully presented.
It’s clear that this team values hospitality and knows how to make every guest feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great service, delicious food, and a memorable dining experience in Kimberley!

The staff at Hourglass were beyond accommodating for our bigger group and have great food and drinks to choose from. The space is really welcoming and openness to patio was appreciated. Highly recommend!

Breanna and Ella (and Brooke) run a brilliant cocktail bar in Kimberley BC where you can negotiate your perfect cocktail (dry martini or Manhattan for me) at the bar and watch it being created while you snack on delicious bites.
