Hirsch Creek Bar & Grill

I went here with some friends after work as 3 of our group were on their last shift and we wanted to enjoy a meal together.
The golf course was able to accommodate our group with short notice which was appreciated.
The golf course is a nice location and it's nice on the inside.
Food is reasonably priced, menu isn't very big, but decent.
They brought us glasses for beer, the glass set before me had a hair on it... and it didn't look particularly clean, maybe just water spotting but the hair...
I wasn't drinking so I didn't use it.
We ordered some wings which were nice, little pricey for how much you get.
Went with a burger and onion rings, burger was tasty, but they forgot my order as it didn't come out till nearly everyone at my table had almost finished.
The service wasn't very good, which was weird because the place was empty, maybe 2 other people in the place besides our group.
So it's weird that their service suffered.
It took the waitress forever to ask if anyone wanted water for those of us not drinking.
Even with poor service and the hair on my glass, I'll give them 4 stars, just because the food was nice and reasonably priced, as I'm feeling generous.

Burger I had was pretty tasty, but it was kinda skimpy on the fixings. Kids meals were kind skimpy too only 2 chicken strips they were still hungry. The biggest let down was the service, we were seated in the far corner behind a cabinet by the front door and were forgotten about a few times, it was also very cold by the window. I waited for my bill and it never came, so l packed up my family of 6 and made my way to the bar to pay my bill.Not sure if I'll go back, its been touch and go over the years depending on who manages the restaurant. A few years back the service was top notch atmosphere was even better with table decor candles ect.., I think it was being managed by a couple from Vancouver Island if I remember correctly back then.

The course is beautiful. The restaurant food could be better, but the service is touch and go. Some servers are GREAT! Others we had to go inside and ask 3 times for drinks and a menu.

I tried to give the place another go. Once again nothing tasted fresh. I ordered fish tacos and they came in cheap hard shells. Everything was frozen and not fresh. But comes with a price tag of a nice restaurant. Sat on the deck but no tables had shade or umbrellas. Why is it so hard to have fresh food on the menu? The ocean is right there.

Food wasnt anything UK brag about. Will not be going
