My family and I were traveling from Prince George to Vancouver. We stopped here for the first time. We were thrilled by the whole experience. I had the Hungry Bear Burger, which is outstanding in every way. My boys had chicken fingers. I tried one and was delighted. I highly recommend visiting this location. 10/10.
We've been traveling from Vancouver Island to Quesnel and this restaurant is by far and hands down the best food we've had. The service is great and the cooks rock the kitchen 😋 20/10
Always stop there in summer time really busy place and best fish & Chips and chicken tenders in Cariboo Area. See you soon in Summer!
Always good food and friendly staff. See you again soon
Hot hamburger sandwich? Hot pull the F over!
Possibly best hot hamburger sandwich I've ever had. It came smothered not only in gravy, but also a 3 cheese blend (which I know isn't canonical for the dish, but it works!)
The fries were crispy and delicious. The gravy was tasty as well!
Great small restaurant. Food was great and service was very good.
Hungry Bear has some of the best hot wings, I’ve had. and they are non breaded! 🤩
Omg. What a huge filling great meal. I was told I had to try it there and definitely will be recommending it to friends. Lots of convenient parking for big trucks and trailers. Sailbury steak special is a huge delicious meal for sure.

The food was very good, although a somewhat smaller portion than you are used to in Canada. For the rest it is just fine to eat well, the quality of the food is very good.

Came here n a Thursday night and it's retry much dead, so the service was fast, polite, and efficient
There's lots of room for parking here! And room for semi trucks to park.
Even though the place looks a little worn down its sti very clean, and I do really like the décor which is al locally home done type things which adds a cute local charm.
The food however is nothing special. Its The pretty standard Deerfield and/or remade stuff off of a grocery supplier, and the menu is pretty lacking in non-meat options. The prep however , even though it was nothing special it was still cooked well (that being said my items were just deep fried remade boxed foods so it's pretty straight forward preparation.
The woman waitressing for e though was very Good, and super amazing at everything though so it's definitely worth coming back here again some time

Nice dinner with good food at a decent price. What more could you ask for.
Owner-operators are the nicest, hardest working folks in town which makes supporting this small business easy. Clean and well appointed country-style diner with a relatively standard menu. If I could offer one small suggestion, it would be to expand the breakfast menu and/or the daily specials. Tons of free parking, multiple restrooms and an outdoor patio (although I’m not sure how often it’s used). Prices are very reasonable and the portions are optimal. All in all, an excellent, well-run family establishment and a must-try if you are in the area!
Parking: Ample truck and vehicle parking. When I say ample, I mean AMPLE.
