Usually love this little diner and try to give it quite a bit of business. This last visit the portion of fries was way less than usual and the dessert cost $10 for the tiniest piece of cake I have ever been served. Could not believe it! So I do not recommend ordering dessert. Service was great as usual.

A definite must stop for travellers. The burgers are homemade, the fries are homemade, the gravy is homemade, the chicken tenders are home made… the amount of “homemade” is shocking. The food is absolutely delicious and portion size is worth way more than the cost. I had the hungry bear burger and it changed my outlook on what burgers should taste like; better than any high end restaurant offering I have ever tried. This is not an upsell, try it and you will understand.

They should update their website to say that they don't serve breakfast. The food we ordered was very bland.

No change table, good parking, I’d suggest to stick to handhelds even though the cutlet was good, the mash potato tasted sour almost rancid and the veggies tasted like fridge.

Food was brought out quick but I wasn’t checked on after receiving it, was hoping to get a side of fries or something instead but no one came back so I just paid, when I expressed it at the till they said they would let the cook know, so hopefully it better for the next person.

Would have been appropriate to offer a discounted price since they didn’t come back to offer any exchanges or try to fix it at all.

My favorite local Diner and top choice for a casual date meal or a family outing. Service is prompt and the food is consistently excellent. Definitely worth the drive 26km North of 100 Mile. The Hot Hamburger with a Bacon Poutine is my favorite and my recommendation. They have daily specials, and do serve liquor.

What an amazing view at a very clean establishment!
Party of four, the meals were chicken strips, mushroom burger and fries, chicken strip wrap with fries, and roast beef dinner. Disappointed the roast beef was sliced instead of pieces of beef. The potatoes and gravy was yummy. The wrap was delicious but had to look for the chicken in it. It was like a vegetarian wrap. Amazing French fries served with hot gravy. We all could have used more drink.

Everything about this place was top notch. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, with generous portions. Specially Fish & Chips one order of fish & chips is enough for two people huge big fish with homemade fresh crispy fries.Well worth the drive out Lac La Hache. Will back again!

Good grief ... change the frying oil as its stale and burnt ... Fries were poorly cooked and inedible .... for $20+ for a meal is some fresh clean frying oil and properly cooked fires too much to ask for ?
