I stopped in the other day to meet a friend on a cold cloudy day and was instantly impressed by the warm welcome and inviting atmosphere. Enjoyed a delicious London Fog as we chatted the morning away. Host was a gem and had other products like handcrafted jewelry for sale.

In my opinion this cafe has some of the best coffee I’ve tried in all my travels and I’m blessed to live an hour away. I keep on coming back because it’s consistently great coffee. If you like Frapaccinos from Starbucks (in my opinion inferior coffee and I never go there) then you’ll love their “Crakaccinos”! I’m an espresso coffee addict when I travel and I really enjoy trying new cafes wherever I go and only come back to the exceptional ones. Q-Brew is on my exceptional coffee list. As an example, this week I visited over 20 cafes on a week trip to the Kootenays. Earlier this year I visited 34 different cafes on the Sunshine Coast and I could say that only 3 were worth visiting more than once. Last year while travelling Europe for 2 months (15 countries, over 17,000 kms) I visited 2-4 different (high-rated) cafes every day along the way. You do the math. Q-brew competes with some of the best Italian cafes I visited (in my opinion of course) and I’ve heard similar testimonies from others. Thanks Sheila and Andrew!

Perfectly fine if you want an easy to-go coffee. But if you want vibe, a place to sit or classic coffee technique just go to the next town up or down the highway.

Nice people. Been there more than once. The espresso they pour has been inconsistent in taste. They use Cherry Hill beans which we do find as a darker, stronger bean if not done right. Not quite our pallet, although we have been to other shops where they pull off a pour that shows off more of the beans unique flavour profile. Which is delicious.

Great Coffee (Cherry Hill from interior BC) and the jewelry is super cute. Caramel Macchiatos are the best locally, definitely worth driving from 100 Mile for a good cup of Java!
Excellent Coffee with the warmest welcome! What a delightful find in Lac La Hache! Kenny the Yorkie greeted us at the door, and the owner and staff were equally lovely. The coffee truly lives up to its reputation and is expertly brewed and delicious.
I also picked up a loaf of bread made by one of the staff members, and it was absolutely delicious! Planning my return on the next trip through town. Highly recommended!
