My partner and I are very appreciative of good coffee and good coffee is hard to come by. We have one place in Duncan that we like, and now we have a place in Lake Cowichan, at Ed's. Their coffee is so good. We had an excellent chat with who I assume was the owner. He was so passionate about coffee and you can tell he is in the business because of his genuine love for a good brew. I'm so happy this place is close to home as I am in Youbou. The beans they use, Black Cat I think he said, are some of the best . Highly recommended.

So much love for the exceptional staff here who came running out into the parking lot when my friend fell and broke her wrist, and provided first aid, shelter, kind words (and great coffee) while we waited for a ride to the hospital. You come in as a customer and leave feeling like family. Thank You Ed’s Coffeehouse!

Stopped here for a snack and an iced latte with my toddler today before heading to the beach. I had a delicious oat fudge bar and the latte was smooth. The atmosphere was great - this place has character. He-Man was playing on the tv…that says it all. The gal and guy who were working the front were both super friendly and helpful. This was my first time here, but it’s my kinda place and we will definitely be back during our next camping trip.
