Ordered takeout tonight from the Langford location. It was my first time having their food and I have clearly been missing out big time because it was so good. Green curry and rice, as well as the Pad Thai…all so flavourful. 5 stars and I might as well consign all my future pay cheques to them as I’ll be back many more times to try more dishes.

Ordered take out thru uber eats. Waited over an hour for my food to be prepared which is just absurd. Go to the store to find out my food has been sitting on your counter for over 15 min. I tried calling store - no answer like 8 times in a row. When I walked in the place was half full. Highly HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND U ORDER FROM THIS STORE. They always chince on broth levels if u don’t want veggies in it. Just had too many horrible experiences with this place. And the workers, like 4 of the workers behind the bar just completely ignorant talking to each other about the weekend and completely ignoring me and another dude waiting to be taken care of. Will never give this place another dime of my money again.

Was really looking forward to a nice Thai meal with my family. Unfortunately the staff had other plans. I was there with my family and our friends and they refused to seat us because one of our children was a little rambunctious. Totally turned us all off of the restaurant. We walked down to Liberty Kitchen and were seated right away and saved the night for us. Go Liberty Kitchen and shame on you Baan Thai!

Baan Thai Wok & Bar was a pleasant surprise for us. The restaurant combines authentic Thai flavors with a modern twist, creating a delicious and memorable dining experience. The service was attentive to our needs and wonderfully kind to our children. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a modern take on Thai cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.

The food was amazing and as soon as the one person ( I’m thinking the Manager) realized the lady who was supposed to be helping us she was there and helped us 100 % so we got our delicious meal

I loved Ban Thai restaurant . Today I went with my mom in Langford location close to West Shore Mall . It was worse experience of my life. We waited 15 minutes for someone to acknowledged us. The person at bar was chit chatting with another employee and kept on ignoring us. Finally, man came and told ladies to let us in. Server came and gave us menu. We waited 15 minutes to get glass of water after asking few times. We ordered Red Thai chicken and Green Thai chicken and asked for “ medium hot”. The food came and tasted not fresh as bamboo was hard to eat. No one came to check us and ask how was food. I called server and told her the food has no flavour and no spices at all. Then employee told me that they can add if I still want. Restaurant was not busy at all. We decided to leave our lunch and paid the bill. I will never go there again and won’t recommend to others

They wouldn't seat us or serve us when the restaurant was practically empty because I had a child they thought was unsuitable for the restaurant. We went to Liberty Kitchen and got seated immediately and had a beautiful dinner and they treated my son well at Liberty Kitchen. Baan Thai servers and line management were so disrespectful!! On principle, I don't recommend anyone go there with children.
THAT RESPONSE IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE. YOU ARE JUST TRYING TO COVER UP. WE WENT BY THE RESTAURANT AGAIN AN HOUR LATER AND SAW IT STILL EMPTY. THE TABLES WERE NOT RESERVED. WHEN WE WERE THERE, WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE 20 MINUTES TO SEAT US AND WE LEFT SIMPLY BECAUSE WE KNEW EXACTLY WHY THEY WERE NOT SEATING US IMMEDIATELY AND WOULDN'T EVEN IN 20 MINUTES. IT WAS VERY OBVIOUS WHAT WAS GOING ON. THEY WERE ACTING COY AND ALL EMPLOYEES BEING VERY AWKWARD WITH US WHEN THEY TOLD US IT WOULD BE 20 MINTUES.
WE EVEN CALLED WHEN WE WERE SEATED AT LIBERTY KITCHEN AND SPOKE TO AMY, THE LINE MANAGER THAT WAS WORKING THAT NIGHT AND WHO WOULDN'T SEAT US, AND GOT HER TO ADMIT WHY WE WEREN'T GIVEN A TABLE - IT WAS BECAUSE OF MY CHILD.
SO YOU ARE JUST LYINGRIGHT NOW. THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT RESERVED AT ALL. IT WAS A VERY SLOW SATURDAY NIGHT AT BAAN THAI IN LANGFORD AND I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES.

Horrible service. Out of my normal social media habit, I am writing a bad review on my page. Baan Thai in Langford basically kicked us out of their restaurant tonight, refusing to seat us because of my child, who had only walked into the restaurant instead of waiting at the front with us. Notably, the restaurant was almost empty, but they said there were no tables available for us! We walked over to Liberty Kitchen and got seated right away, though the restaurant was packed and had a wonderful dinner. I have never been so disrespected because I have a child that didn't follow the procedure of waiting by the door to be seated, a child who came back to the door when I told him to come back.

Horrible service!!! Sat at the table for over 20 minutes and never saw a server, tried to get the attention of a server and was ignored. Ended up leaving without getting to eat!

We were looking forward to a good meal at a place we hadn't tried before. Unfortunately we did not get to try the food. We were seated promptly and then forgotten about. After 25 mins of waiting we left hungry and disappointed. The restaurant was about 2/3rd full and they seemed to have plenty of staff

Baan Thai was an incredible dining experience that felt truly authentic. We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared.

The Thai milk tea was rich and creamy, with just the right sweetness—a perfect start to the meal. The red curry had a wonderfully bold and aromatic flavor, with a smooth coconut base and fresh, tender ingredients that made it so satisfying.

The pad Thai tasted just like how it should—authentic, with perfectly cooked noodles, a delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors, and a generous sprinkle of peanuts for added crunch. The grilled prawns were juicy, smoky, and charred to perfection, bringing out that classic Thai barbecue flavor. The green papaya salad was bright and refreshing, with crisp textures, a zesty lime dressing, and a hint of spice that brought it all together beautifully.

You could tell the ingredients were fresh, and the dishes had that homemade touch that’s hard to find. If you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors and a fantastic dining experience, Baan Thai is definitely the place to go!
