Cliff and Gorge Vineyards

We had such a fabulous afternoon at Cliff and Gorge. Love being able to bring our own charcuterie board, and paired it with fabulous wine tasting and a great host, full of stories! The outdoor setting is unbeatable, and the gorge walk is beautiful. Really felt comfortable and welcomed. Love the wine! Definitely will book more visits out here with friends and family. Best winery experience I’ve had in Canada hands down.

Some friends and I just visited Cliff and Gorge winery for the first time and it was a five star experience! We sat in a meadow surrounded by fields and majestic trees, stunning mountains, grapevines, and an arial view of the Fraser just a short walk away. The wine was delicious, and as we sipped and picnicked, Eckhard regaled us with fascinating stories about wine, and life in this gorgeous part of the world. Best few hours ever. Magical! And I came home with some wonderful red wine.

It was such a treat to visit this vineyard. Eckhard was great at responding to my messages to organise a last minute visit. We were the only ones at our visit and we got to sit and chat to Eckhard about his wines and hear his story. The wines were absolutely delicious, the red in particular is incredible. After our wine tasting, we were able to eat our own picnic in his beautiful grounds and then took our time exploring the vineyard. 10/10 experience, super reasonably priced and defo worth a visit! We will be back

Spent the afternoon at Cliff and Gorge with Eckhard. Absolute hidden gem, we were welcomed with samples as part of a tour in the rock garden, sipping wine under the shade of the trees with the very welcome company of Trace who snoozed quietly on the grass beside us. An unconventional but unbeatable wine tasting experience - Eckhard is exceptionally knowledgeable. We left not only well informed about the vineyards on the property but also took home some great stories (and a couple bottles of wine). We were even offered a tour of his “experimentation patch” and winery, before he let us take in the breathtaking views on an evening stroll around the property. The sun sank slowly behind the mountains offering us a break from the blazing sun which bathed the cliffs across the gorge during golden hour. An absolute slice of heaven - we will be back. This is a wonderful spot. We went for a second visit in August this year. We enjoyed the self-guided tour with a lovely dog - the scenery is breathtaking and we appreciated the interpretive information. The wines are delightful and unique, ranging from refreshing delicious Rose to the magnificent Cabernet Franc. Eckhard and is an excellent host with a deep knowledge and love of his land and wine-making. Looking forward to returning next year.

This is our second visit, and it was another memorable time spent in this beautiful setting. The walk around is great! So many places for great photos! The feature of having 6 small bottles in the tasting kit vs only 3 regular size bottles is a cool one. I think this place could be a nice small wedding venue.

A hidden gem, a fabulous host, and the most breathtaking scenery! Eckhard was so welcoming and accommodating. He’s a great conversationalist and made us feel right at home. We took a 25-minute walk around the gorge (accompanied by the best dog!) and caught stunning views. Eckhard then joined us for a picnic (we brought our own food) and we stayed well into the night. A wonderful experience. Thank you!

This was one of the best winery experiences we've ever had. Eckhard was very knowledgeable and a great host. The wines were delicious and the property was beautiful. We loved that we could bring our own picnic to have with the wines and spend as much time as we wanted enjoying the property. Our experience at Cliff and Gorge was amazing! We absolutely loved the format of the tasting: we brought a picnic lunch, grabbed our box of wine, enjoyed tasting the wine while chatting with Eckhard, and then took a walk around the winery! I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a unique winery experience!

Gem in BC wineries! Eckhard awaits for you with 350ml bottles of wine, which you can take back home with you! Gorgeous place where you can learn much about wine while tasting it in tree shade beside his vineyards. He has refreshing, unusual grape varieties whites, attractive reds and crisp summery rosé. Everyone will find their wine here!
