The views are breath taking and the wine is delicious!
Out of the six to ten wineries that we’ve been to, this has got to be our favorite 💛
The wine tasting itself is amazing, we get to enjoy wine while looking over the gorgeous mountain in an air conditioned room. Can you think of a better combination? I’ll wait 😉💛
The stunning view, the clean and modern design, the gorgeous patio that has a cover so my pale boyfriend doesn’t burn (😛), the kind, knowledgeable people who work here (Shoutout to Jeremy and the other person whose name we forgot to grab- dynamic duo!!). If you don’t stop by here when you’re in Lillooet, then I’d say you haven’t visited Lillooet at all 🤭
Edit: We couldn’t resist and came back to Lillooett two months later…🫣 Our second visit to Fort Berens absolutely lived up to the hype we built up in our heads the first time. Glad to report that the rose coloured glasses came off and it’s just as amazing and magical ;) Happy to see Jeremy again, thanks for taking such good care of us as always!
Beautiful place to stop and taste wine, would definitely recommend sitting on the patio and enjoying a glass. The view really helps to feel the vibes, energy and flavors of the wine come to the palate.
Excited to see how the wine I bought will taste.
Charcuterie board for 30$ is a complete joke sorry 3 pc of meat and a bit of store cheese is just not reflecting your winery
Indont mind paying for things if they are good this just isn’t
We had such a wonderful experience at Fort Berens Winery! The wines were absolutely delicious, each with its own character and depth. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made the tasting so enjoyable. A real highlight was getting the chance to chat with their incredibly knowledgeable winemaker, who generously took time out of his busy schedule to share insights with us. It made the visit feel extra special. Highly recommend visiting if you love great wine and genuine hospitality!
Beautiful stopping off point to do a wine tasting and enjoy the views.
Jeremy was so friendly & knowledgeable about the wines - and we really enjoyed our tasting.
If you buy two bottles of wine- the tasting is free. The price on the bottles start at an affordable 19$!
Stunning views and good wine!
This winery was amazing! We tasted five different wines, picked our favorite to buy, and then enjoyed a glass of it while taking in the view of the vineyards. The staff were super friendly and greeted us with warm smiles!
After a long and scenic drive, we treated ourselves to a visit at this beautiful winery, and it was absolutely worth it. The setting is stunning, with a peaceful patio overlooking the landscape, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sounds of nature.
We sampled all the wines on offer and ended up settling in with a bottle of their crisp, refreshing rosé paired with a charcuterie board - a perfect combination. The wines were lovely across the board. We also picked up a bottle of their super dry and delicious cider to enjoy later at our final destination for the evening. Make sure to ask about them too!
A great bonus: your tasting fee is waived with the purchase of two bottles. Friendly staff, great wine, and a gorgeous view make this spot definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area. Cheers!
The view from the winery and the wine here are unbelievable!! Can't beat it!!

Surprisingly tasty wines
An absolute must see if traveling through Lillooet.
Even more so, get in touch with them ahead of time to try to set up a tour/tasting. Tammy gave the tour, and my goodness, she is passionate and knowledgeable and made the tour and tasting even better.
This vineyard has a view to envy with mountains all around it. We were greeted by a delightful lady who gave us a run down of the vineyard's history and offerings. We tasted some delicious wines and bought some, plus some ciders from a local cidery in Lillooet. We were given plenty of information on places to eat and drink in town and enjoyed our visit very much. Absolutely highly recommended, a great stop right on the highway.
Great experince, much more peaceful and indepth than other wineries I have visited. A unique place and well worth a stop.
Fort Berens winery has to be visited to enjoy the experience of having a detailed wine experience from friendly and informative staff in either the main tasting room, lounge area, informative tour or scenic outside seating area. Easy to access for wheelchairs, children's play area and gorgeous views. A must Lillooet destination stop.
