We really enjoyed the food here. Portions are large so we shared a plate. The service was okay. The ambiance was okay as well. We'll be back because the food was so good.

I lived in Phoenix for a while and got to know Mexican food. Been looking for it Canada for 30 years in vain until Aqui es Mexico! Absolutely delicious. Love the food truck in Davis Bay too! All that scrumptiousness and the view too. Coming up for food and music love that idea. My new favourite restaurant.

Honestly, what a gem of a find! We had just finished hiking up Mt. Daniel's, and happened to stumble upon this place - and I'm so glad we did! We lived in Cali for a number of years, and definitely had our fair share of good Mexican places, so always skeptical when trying ones in places that aren't necessarily known for it. But this was so good! We had the guac and chips to start. Guac was super tasty band had an awesome touch of pickled red onion on it. I then had the fish tacos and hubs had the pork quesadillas, both of which were delicious and really fresh tasting. I also had a passionfruit margarita, which was really tasty but could have done with a bit more tequila. The service was awesome - our server was really friendly and attentive and someone else even came out to see if our dog wanted water. I didn't go inside, but from the outside looking in, it looked cute inside. Had plenty of outside seating. Was by far the best food we've had since coming to the Sunshine Coast - will definitely go back when we visit again.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. This place is boss. Kind staff. Food came out so fast. The food was SO good, the flavors were totally on point. I had the Floutas. Mmmm.

Popular place in town, even had live music that Valentine's day.
Expensive and underwhelming. I got the veggie enchilada- which is usually my favourite dish to order at a Mexican restaurant- it had okay flavour but was barely stuffed with anything except for some peppers and zucchini, with some sauce on top. My partner didn’t enjoy his food either and barely ate any of it. We were both looking forward to trying this place based on the reviews but ended up being very disappointed and won’t be back.

Authentic gem in Madeira park. The chicken flautas with mole sauce were absolutely smashing. To be recommended is any dish with that mole sauce… truly delicious. A very nice touch was the bulldog I enjoyed with my meal - an upside corona in a margarita, for those unaware. In addition, the mystery tequila beverage and the NA tamarind juice were SO tasty. I would recommend the drive, to anybody on the coast, to visit this fantastic restaraunt.
