We regret to say that we were not satisfied with the service and food during our visit. The waffles were dry and hard, and my omelet was mostly just cheese with very little ham. Additionally, the water served tasted strange. We hope you can make improvements as well as the service. We felt like it was also overpriced.

This place is a great spot to stop by if you’re in the area. They had a gluten free option for my daughter which was great. Atmosphere and service were really good and they had outside seating for those with pets.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review. I visited Java Docks with friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. But more importantly than that we were treated with a wonderful breakfast that we all enjoyed. Shelly, who was Chief Cook, Waitress, and I guess Bottle Washer was so pleasant!! She made us feel right at home. Though she had to do Everything, she so pleasantly took care of our needs. We were thankful for the experience and we discussed it and her as we drove away for a long day of travel. Rarely do I write reviews, but I could not help myself this time.

Worst decision to spend brunch here. Service was poor. Food is not that delicious at all! Bland, not well presented! The owners are not that welcoming and friendly at all. Asked for ketchup and the lady with bangs literally told us you can grab serve yourself. Like how do we even know it was just behind us? You didn’t even mention were it is. Running this kind of business, you need to know how to treat your customers like your family. Don’t waste your money here.

$16 for 3 frozen waffles out of a toaster oven.

$9 for a breakfast wrap containing mostly potato, with trace amounts of indistinguishable proteins and cheese.

A $5 sausage roll from a microwave that turned the puff pastry into gum.

$5.25 for a chai latte, poured unapologetically from the Tazo carton it came in from the grocery store.

Maximum price point for minimum effort and quality. If that's what you look forward to for breakfast, this is your place.

Homemade waffle batter is dirt cheap. A waffle maker is about $150. Panini presses aren't expensive either. The constant flow of transient money must be the only thing keeping this place alive. I wish them the best of luck.

Read the reviews and wanted to give it a try for ourselves. Very much a local spot for comfort food. Everything in the town is expensive because of the remote location. You get what you pay for. I felt it was completely fair to pay $8 for a breakfast wrap heated up. Food was pretty good, I wasn’t expecting 5 star service or food. Server was very kind and just clearly is a quiet person, not intentionally rude as some of the other comments suggest.

I’m convinced the women who work here are allergic to kindness. Placing an order feels like you’ve personally inconvenienced them. You’ll get a warmer reception at the DMV. The food and drinks are bland, clearly the result of being prepared by people devoid of human emotion, but the real standout is the service: cold, unwelcoming, and delivered with the kind of dead-eyed disinterest that makes you question your place in the universe. No matter what kind of mood you’re in when you arrive, you’ll leave feeling worse.

Came here for a morning coffee at 7:30 on a Sunday. Not open. Time to update the opening hours Java docks.

Came here after a walk to the light house. Nothing else was opened so came here. Sausage roll was way too salty. Lemon and cranberry muffin was good.

Small community vibes with simple, fresh ingredients.

Great little diner, had the breakfast wrap and it was solid and substantive! Great small town feel. Friendly owner.
