I just had the most amazing experience at this cute little sushi spot! The staff was super friendly and the prices were really good. Every bite was a burst of flavor, freshness and authentic. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're in the mood for some fantastic sushi, definitely check it out!I personally loved the seaweed salad, sashimi, Center roll and their monthly special roll as well!

Ordered $180 takeout for 7 ppl for NYE. Food was fresh and professionally prepared. Would recommend for sushi in the area. Drove about 30 minutes north of Sechelt in order to have sushi from Mama’s.

Really enjoyed the food here, delicious fresh seafood with beautiful presentation. Nice decor and atmosphere as well, I wish I could have stayed to eat in but they were a convenient choice to grab and go to hunker down for the night too. Yum!

So grateful to have this wonderful restaurant in our small community for dine-in and take -out. Always fresh with a good selection and some seasonal features. Some coast patrons come considerable distances to this a destination location. Make sure to check the website for opening hours or call ahead with your order if limited for time. It can be busy. Takeout platters are a great for a gathering but order well in advance.

I used to love this restaurant, but my experience at lunch recently was disappointing.I ordered a Bento box with chicken teriyaki. It consisted of a couple of cold slices of chicken served on a bed of cold bean sprouts with a bit of cold sauce poured on it. Rice was served on the side. There were a few pickles and a bit of lettuce (aka "a salad") and the obligatory California roll. I ordered two pieces of Ngiri tuna sushi (extra$) which was delicious. They used to be located in Sechelt where we were regular customers. They are now in Madeira Park and I rarely get up that way, so I was really looking forward to the food.☹️

Small family run restaurant that features excellent sashimi, a wide variety of rolls - some very inventive! - in a cozy, casual environment. Authentic Japanese food served and made by several family members. I’ve eaten here many times. Never a bad meal.
