We planned a nice weekend with my family. We went out for dinner, and I ordered the steak of the day. At 11 p.m., the nightmare began; vomiting, constant diarrhea. I’m currently pregnant, and we had to go to the emergency room at 4 a.m. Now even my dog, whom I shared some of my leftovers with, is also sick…

We were a party of 6 , the service was ok, the deal was 3 hrs after dinning in there ,one of us had a sever food poisoning, leading us to the hospital that is an hour away, we all order different plates , the one that she ate was the meat of the day, also they didnt tell which kind of meat it was, so bad experience, we know it was the meal there cause we all had eaten the same food 48 hrs prior to the food poisoning , and the only one thing different was that meal

The Bear's Den Pub was great for our ski trip to Manning Park Resort. Our daughter has celiac disease, and we were delighted to see the selection of foods that she could eat. She was excited to go there two nights in a row to order something different. She asked about mac and cheese, and the waiter went to find out if it contained gluten. It was a safe choice and she loved it! They offer gluten free deep fried chicken and have a dedicated fryer. This will be the destination for our future ski trips based on food alone. All the food we ordered was tasty and the service was great. Awesome job Bear's Den!

Walking into this bar was like stepping into a library—except with the deafening silence of existential dread and golf quietly droning on the TV. No music, no chatter.

Good stop for the washrooms! The menu looked good, but couldn’t justify the price that was asked. Stopped into the little store beside and it was worse. Picked up food along the HWY instead.

1- Slow service even though the pub wasn’t full
2- Avoid any flatbread, tastes like horrible frozen pizzas
3- Had to ask for a refill a few times and never got it
There’s definitely room for improvement
Keep in mind I’m rating this a a pub, not fine dining. Great pub fare, with reliable service and decent atmosphere. Prices aren’t bad. We paid $32 for large nachos with chicken and guacamole. Filled two grown men after a full day of skiing.NOTE: for the regulars, the pool table has been removed and the big hearth fireplace isn’t usable due to the sprinkler system not being repaired. Ugh :(

If you don't hit the Bears Den at the end of your day, then you're missing out. The food is great, the drinks are great, and the feeling after a good day at Manning... priceless!

A great cozy and warm pub serving a selection of draughts from Old Yale Brewing. A small but very tasty menu. A wonderful stop to close out a day of skiing.
Great atmosphere mountain pub. Homemade chuck burger was delicious. Friendly staff as well. Cheers
Cute little pub, plenty of space, and a great fire to relax by. Really good service, and a decent menu.
Great place if low key is what you're looking for. Worth my money, every cent of it.
