Today, I went to A&W with my 8-year-old niece to celebrate her birthday — it was her special Yes Day! 🎉 We started our little adventure there, and I thought maybe, like some cafés or restaurants, A&W might have a small cupcake with a candle for kids. I really wanted to surprise her with a tiny birthday cake and candle at our first stop.
When I asked the staff, they kindly told me they didn’t have anything like that, and I felt a bit disappointed that my plan had a little “technical problem” 😂 so we went back to our table.
But just a minute later, the lovely and polite lady at the counter — Elishba W. — came over to our table with a cute sticker, singing “Happy Birthday to you!” to my niece. She gave her a warm hug and made her day so special. Seeing the pure joy and excitement on my niece’s face brought tears of happiness to my eyes.
Thank you, Elishba W., for your kindness and beautiful heart. 💖 And truly, congratulations to A&W for having such an amazing employee — she turned an ordinary moment into a memory we’ll never forget. 🌸

I love area with condiments handwashing. The washroom was very clean and the employees were friendly. The only I didn’t know was that they don’t keep cream for your coffee at the condiment station.

Our latest trip to the drive thru was a lesson in hospitality. Rosanna D should be teaching everyone how it's done. She was polite, succinct and extremely efficient. I've been in food and beverage for over 30 years and can tell you she's an asset you don't want to lose.

It’s almost 10 am when we went to A&W @ 20811 Lougheed Highway. Elishba greeted us with a warm smile,took our order.Her Costumer service was superb. The burger was great and fresh the way we wanted( no seasoning).😋.We noticed sweet potatoes getting smaller portion. Elishba came by and asked if everything is okey. We gave our honest opinion about the portion of sweet potatoes and she rectified the problem so we are costumer happy with the smile. We highly recommend to come and enjoy the freshness of food and excellent costumer service. Cheers!

Me and my friend went to this location and it was extremely loud and we were not respected at all. We are already hard of hearing and they were rude to us because we didn’t hear are order be called so because of that they deserve 2 stars. Also there tables were all wet

I’m a regular customer at this location. Love this place because it’s clean and food is great ( customized the way I want) . Service is excellent with a smile. Welcome back Elishba, you are my favourite employee. I missed you when you were gone for a while, now I am happy you’re back. The managers are nice too, have a moment to talk to customers.
