Bean Around Books and Tea

I visited once or twice in the past but when I had to stay there for hours to study, it was honestly the greatest. The easiest way to lock in is a cozy café with a good drink; they provided just that. Their service is wonderful and quick and they have a great variety of tea. Their walls are covered in books if you want to do some reading and it's spacious in the back if you need to do some studying. Great place, I come back for the London Fogs 🤤.

A beautiful, homey, lovely, becoming, uniquely-stellar spot where you immediately feel like you belong. Orville and Darcy are two of the kindest souls, who have created a dream-space for humans who enjoy existence. They have book fro
all genres, coffee, tea, and small local sourced bites which could have you spend a few hours just enjoying the atmosphere. Additionally! They just started poetry readings every last Saturday where anyone who has a creative mind is welcome to share or just-support the amazing local talent in the community. Stumbling into it was a serendipitous moment for me, and I hope anyone else who comes across Bean Around haves the same amazing time I have here ✨🌙

I visited this coffee shop with my dad and his coffee was great, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t as positive. I ordered an iced matcha, but the quality was disappointing. The matcha was a pale green (rather than the vibrant shade good matcha should be) and had a fishy taste. I drink matcha often, so I could tell it was low grade.
When I asked about getting a different drink, the four staff members working just stared at me, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I ended up ordering something else, but I was charged again. Unfortunately, the replacement drink tasted watered down and lacked flavor.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly, but overall the service felt unprofessional, and the drinks didn’t meet expectations.

Been here quite a few times over the last couple years and it is great! My kids love the hot chocolate here (it is really good, I tried it), the coffees are also great, and the tea selection is exceptional.

It’s a really fun place to come and enjoy a game of chess, or one of the other games they have. Seating layout is great for conversations and games, because there are tables in three areas, so you have a bit of privacy even though it’s not a huge space.

I love coming with my kids or with friends, and sometimes just on my own to relax with a nice hot cup of tea or coffee and browse through the books. They have tons of used books at great prices, as well as a nice selection of new and local.

Staff is friendly and welcoming. It’s such a nice place, whether you want something quick to go, or want to sit for a while.

I remember when this place first opened and it has been a gem ever since. I always try to stop here when visiting home, as the selection is excellent. Staff are friendly too. Thank you! 💕

This local coffee spot is great, they have a wall of books honoring local authors and a couple of patio tables for a nice little read with your coffee. I've loved this place since it opened and it just keeps getting better. Support Local!

The best little shop in town. Great books, awesome coffees and teas, and for an amazing cause. All proceeds go towards programs to help youth get employability skills. The more you visit, the more you see all the different volunteers learning and gaining confidence.

Great place to escape to for a treat and some quiet time. The atmosphere is perfect and I can read or explore titles while entirely surrounded by books
