Was recommended this spot for brunch for my birthday.

The server took our drink order, and aggressively pitched the “locally brewed alternative to coke with stevia” to our designated driver. She was quite obnoxious, but it’s cool. Being yelled at during brunch can be fun?

Roughly 15 minutes later, our drinks arrived and were spilled on the table while being delivered. Noticeably absent was the stevia based coke like beverage. Which was never provided.

A second server arrived with our food and instead of a chorizo hash, I was served a chorizo benny. I politely told this server I asked for the hash, and she rolled her eyes, presumably, at the first server, and I was assured they would put a rush on my order.

The first server returned, and in fairly accusing manor said “oh your order was wrong” and left

Then quickly reappeared with a chorizo hash and said “it’s okay, we just stole somebody else’s” because apparently, everyone deserves the same level of customer service that we were treated to.

I’m not a fan of soft, runny poached eggs. The patron that this hash was prepared for was.

I mentioned to the server that this wasn’t what I ordered and she grabbed the plate, said she would take it off the bill and sauntered away.

Comically bad, wonderful birthday story.

We had a relatively large party that booked at thr last minute and they accommodated us without hesitation.

Highly recommend you make your way out the Maple Ridge and partake in any of their offerings. Food is great, in fact, it's only bested by the service we received from Kimberly and the rest of the supporting front of house staff.

Disappointed by the Maple Bacon French toast- bacon was all fat and no meat.
When mentioned to the waiter she brushed it off.
Usually Big feast food is amazing- today was a disappointment.

I have been a longtime customer of Big Feast since it opened. I did slow down over the years just due to costs. I have gone back a few times in the last year and have not at all been very impressed (it's not like it used to be).

1.Today I went for brunch, we decided to sit outside but noticed after a bit that it was a bit chilly, so we got our menus and went back in to request to sit inside. Our server told us their heaters were not working this morning then went to get someone else with an unwelcoming facial expression who made a point of saying it is our policy we do not change tables and reluctantly sat us inside. Note it was not at all busy. I am not sure why she made a point of telling us about the policy, it did nothing but make us feel bad like we did something wrong. Instead, she could have said sure no problem and sat us inside without mentioning the policy OR let us know the rules ahead time.

2. The food was overpriced for what you get. I ordered the Thai curry. It lacked flavor and tasted of salt and vinegar. I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago at the cactus club and t was so delicious and cost the same. I had a sweet tooth and went to the showcase and ordered the pecan pie. It was not good at all hard as a rock and no flavor at all. I got my bill, and the pie was shockingly 10$ for a slice. Absurd. I can make whole gluten free homemade pie myself that tastes like something. 7$ may have been a better price. I said to the server the pie was 10$ and she says yep smugly and said it is homemade and the whole pie costs 75$. Ok thanks. If you need a good pie go to Hansel and Gretal bakery.

Had brunch here Saturday with my kids. Very tasty chorizo bowl (just wish the toast was hot!) Service was friendly. Not a place to come if you're in a hurry; the food takes time. If you're looking for a leisurely brunch at a small local place, definitely worth a try 👏

Absolutely Delicious!!!

Server was excessively rude to my partner and made them uncomfortable. Food is OK but portions are small.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! As someone who needs gluten-free options, I was thrilled to see so many choices on the menu.

The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The only hiccup was the choppy radio, but when we asked if they could turn it off, they were incredibly kind and took care of it right away.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a friendly spot with excellent service!

I recently visited the Big Feast Bistro and was disappointed by the experience. After waiting 20 minutes without even receiving water or service, we decided to leave. We were excited to try the food from the menu, but it was frustrating not to be acknowledged at all. I understand that it can get busy, but a simple glass of water would have made a difference. The overall vibe felt unfriendly, and it left a sour impression. I won’t be returning.

coffee was great although it took 15min to get to us. food was bland, our potatoes or overly oily and mine and my daughters poached eggs were almost hard when we asked for medium. over all I'd stop in for a coffee but won't be going back for breakfast
