Got the chicken strip poutine. The chicken strips were horrible quality and tasted bad. The gravy had 0 flavor and was not hot enough. The fries were bomb tho! EDIT- I see some are saying the chicken strip poutine is 12$?! we paid 17$!!!!!
We tried the Chicken Strips Poutine at the PNE, and it was the best poutine I have ever had! The gravy was hot and flavorful, the chicken and fries were crispy. They had a lineup, but the wait time wasn't too long. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend giving their poutine a try when you get a chance - you won't be disappointed!
We tried Big Red's at the Abbotsford Airshow. Loved their Beef Chicken Poutine. In fairness, I like the texture, crisp not soggy.
HOWEVER, the sauce quantity was not enough to cover the entire box of fries, didn't reach the middle and bottom. Could you please be generous with the gravy from now on?
I would definitely try again.
