I had the most wonderful time interviewing the owner of Capri Italian Bakery & Bistro, Daniel, and my goodness, it truly felt like you walked into a home, filled with warmth and filled with delightful treats and authentic Italian food and products. You can tell why they’ve been around for so long, not only is the shop a Maple Ridge community favourite but also open to everyone who wants to feel as if they’re going to their family home on a Sunday. Highly recommend checking this spot out, and if Daniel is in, asking him for advice on life and business!

Grabbed a few things to try for lunch, Lasagne, meatballs and a sandwich which was shared with my spouse. The bread is amazing, everything was super fresh and tasty and well seasoned. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been going this bakery for a really long time. It’s literally the best ever. I especially love the variety of Italian groceries that I can buy local instead of going all the way to Commercial Drive in Vancouver, the owners are so nice and the staff is amazing.

Remarkable muffins and delicious custard filled pastry. Great staff as well the three times I’ve been in there. Yet lived in maple ridge for over a decade. Thank you. Lasagna is tasty, as well

Absolutely delicious authentic Italian sandwiches - highly recommend the “forget about it”

Unique products and imports. Had the “forget about it” sandwich and it did not disappoint. The staff was kind and prompt. I’ll definitely be coming back here to try more and shop. Small unique shop but that’s what makes it different from the big box stores, definitely has the family run chill vibe.

Best sandwiches in the city, bread is perfection

Oh wow!! This place is awesome!! Perfect authentic tasting sandwiches and amazing real italian pastry! Got a Sinatra and it was delicious! I suggest to try a Bombolone with vanilla cream..🤤Sorry It didn't make it to the picture. Will have to pass again to try everything! Suggerito a tutti gli Italiani qui in Canada! Thank you

Super disappointed to receive my order with the butt end of a tomato that had MOLD! For the cost of these sandwiches, I would never expect the butt end of a tomatoe nevermid with mold on it. I have ordered from this place many times, recommended this place to all my friends. I will never be coming back.

I just love this place. Not only do they make the best sandwich I've had in years (Forget About It), but they also make some of the best baked goods. It's more than just a bakery though, as they have a wide range of Italian groceries including fresh meats and cheeses. To top it off, the staff are wonderful. I drive from Abbotsford to Maple Ridge just for a sandwich - it's that good! I swear I was Italian in another life, haha. Thank you, Capri!
