I've visited Chameleon a few times now and food and drinks have always been very high quality and unique!
This restaurant great for date night, a birthday party with a private area you can rent upstairs or fancy dinner for a family event.

Good food, good service as usual. My friend even got a glass of free white wine when the waitress noticed we are celebrating my friend's birthday.

I had such a wonderful experience here during their Mother’s Day brunch! Everything exceeded my expectations—the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special shoutout to our server, Megan, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We left full, happy, and grateful. I’ll definitely be returning soon with my family to check out the dinner menu. Highly recommend—10/10!

My daughter brought me here for mothers day brunch and it exceeded my expectations! Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the quality of the food. The smoked salmon benny was super tasty and cream brulee was top notch.

I came from Vancouver Island to visit my daughter for Mother's Day and had the most wonderful treat.....dinner at your AMAZING restaurant! We dined on Atlantic salmon and gnocchi, enjoyed some pinot grigio and ended our meal with vanilla bean and pistachio gelato. The meal was delicious.....I honestly think it was the best meal I have ever tasted, based on a lifetime of quality restaurants. Service by Megan was attentive and friendly. The decor was upscale and the ambience was relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend this first class restaurant to anyone seeking a quality dining experience.

Very disappointed in this restaurant and the service they provided. We were a group of three and we were seated by the hostess and told our server would be with us soon. My sister asked the hostess after 10 mins when the server would be over for our order. The hostess spoke rudely to her stating he was the server. The food being very basic and easy to make took over an hour and it was not told by the server what the wait was for. The food was not good and all three of us had stomach issues after. We were told by the other server at the time of payment that their fridge had broken down. I’m pretty sure we all felt sick because of this reason if we had known we would’ve never ate there. The food was frozen tasting prawns in pasta, weird tasting French toast, and soup and grilled cheese which was so hyped up on the menu but it was something I could make at home and super salty tomato soup.

I will never complain about waiting, as long as it's worth it in the end. In this case, it definitely was not. We waited just over half an hour to start. We were seated by the bartender and he informed us that our server would be with us. We ended up sitting for a while with waters just looking around, it wasn't clear who was serving us. Eventually he came over again and asked us what we wanted, not acknowledging that they either got mixed up or forgot about us. It is a really small restaurant, so there's absolutely no excuse for this.

I ordered a sangria which showed up within a minute and had zero effort/presentation put into it, basically tasted like premixed juice with a stale wine after taste. We waited a ridiculously long time for food considering there was barely anyone in the restaurant. The worst part was no one acknowledged the wait time or apologized or anything. The food itself was less than average. Dull grilled cheese and salty tomato soup, linguine (my sister felt her prawns were still a bit cold and likely cooked from frozen), slightly burnt French toast. My smoked salmon benny was okay, but shortly after eating it, I felt sick to my stomach.

I will say that we did not voice our concerns to give the restaurant a chance to make it better. Normally I would, but the server did not seem overly concerned with our experience and was clearly just going through the motions. I did inform him my sangria was just okay, which was an opportunity to offer something else, but he walked away instead. It just felt like order taking, not actual restaurant service. At no point did he make any attempt to chat with us or create a memorable experience. The staff were nice enough, so I'm thinking it has more to do with a lack of experience or poor training.

The place has a small intimate vibe, but the service did not reflect that. The prices are okay, but the food is subpar. I was really looking forward to trying this place based on the reviews, but we all left very disappointed.

The food was excellent. Very flavourful and the portion sizes are just right. The service is good and the place overall looks fancy. My only comment is that it is a bit cold as the AC was blowing on us.
We will come back here again.
