Well it was year and years of great food, going to miss this place...retired and gone is one great Chinese food restuarant. Relax in your retirement and thank you for all the food I loved.

We will miss the Chinese food we fell in love with 6 years ago when we moved to Mapleridge. Was the only good thing about this city.Best of luck Kim and family!!!

Good food, ready fast, and polite service. Did takeout. Restaurant dining room seemed pretty quiet but very clean.

I have ordered take out about a dozen times and sat in for dinner at least once and It's not always consistent. I've had jellow-ey sweet and sour pork a couple of times and ginger beef that was flavorless and dry once or twice but the times that they do nail it, it's good.Let's face it, there isn't 5 star Chinese food in Maple Ridge.

I drive all the way from Burnaby just to grab takeout. It tastes the same as I remember from 30yrs ago. Best Chinese food.

Hole in the wall that's for sure. Doesn't look like much outside and maybe not in as well.. but I'm telling youEVERY FOOD LOVER pay attention to this restaurant. Never got to meet the cook but WOW can he (they?) cook! You're greeted with a wonderful woman that loves you like a mother. Even during COVID this place is busy! And for good reason. I may be vegetarian with little to order but she was informative on what I was able to eat or not. Even made upgrades if I wanted to add more veggies. The portions are generous and they don't skimp on meat or veggies.Jaw.. dropping.. good food. One bite will water your mouth for more. Soooo good. ?

We ordered the family dinner for 7 and it was so good, I highly recommend it. the pork was a little tuff but the flavors were delightful. Thank you to the staff and owners for this little relief of holiday stress.

The place felt apocalyptic like you time travelled back to the 1970's. The roof in the washroom was rotten and caving in.... in not one but two different areas. No paper towel to dry hands either (I guess they didn't have that back in the in 70's?) The food tasted like propane. Not sure how else to describe the flavour. The chicken chow Meir didn't come with any chicken in it and neither did the chicken fried rice. To end this on a positive note I highly recommend their egg rolls! In conclusion, we will not be coming back.

Was po'd last night, had to wait for my food - no delivery driver, super busy and short staffed I'm guessing. Food was wonderful as usual but heated up tonight even better. Omg love Chinese Palace! Thanks Kim and family!!!

Some of the most friendly exceptional service I've received in years. Coupled with good food.

Went for dinner on a rainy Sunday night and we were warmly welcomed by Kim who is so kind, gentle and a very lovely host. The food was sensational! We all had wonton soup which was piping hot and the wontons freshly made and stuffed with lots of filling. We ordered the combination dinners which were very reasonably priced at $15 for fried shrimp, sweet and sour pork and chow mein noodles for me and rice for my husband. We also tried the lemon chicken (my favourite) which had three big chicken breasts in a light, refreshing sauce. Super crispy and delicious. This is proper “old school” Chinese food that is made properly with high quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the food is crispy and freshly made. I have not had Chinese food this good for years! Kim proudly told us they have had a restaurant for 34 years. Long may it continue to have success. They work really hard and the food is great. I can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes. It’s our new favourite restaurant. Highly recommended!

Picked up dinner for 2 and wonton soup for the first time from here and it is very good. The lady host has a very pleasant and polite manner. Reminded me of the old mandarin palace in Mission when I was a kid. Simple, delicious Chinese food that satisfies your craving. Will go again.
