As a long-time Maple Ridge resident, I always enjoyed seeing how our local businesses hire local and young workers. It has been a few months since being here last, but I was surprised that there is a new owner and looks to have hired non Maple Ridge residents. Our youth have lost an opportunity of employment for corporate greed and government handouts. I'll be boycotting both Maple Ridge locations as I do with Tim Hortons. As a parent with 3 kids, I now see less opportunity for Canadians to find starter jobs to gain that experience they need. This location was great for local youth, and now there is only 1 person left, and I would give her 5 stars for her service.

This is the burger I received last weekend. It was a mushroom swiss, which is generally a pretty messy burger, but this one was ridiculous. The grease was leaking through the wrapper and into the bag, and for some reason there seemed to be half a bottle of mayo on the burger. The fries were also ice cold.

I used to be a regular here because I work nearby, but the quality has been steadily getting worse over the last several months. Now it seems that the food is always cold, the portions are smaller, the staff less trained, and the prices higher. I will be finding somewhere else to go on my lunch breaks from now on.

i have app on my ipad and it was too jeavy to bring it so i just brought my phone with my code on it and indian guy refused to prepare my order and denied service! this is such a bad costumer service. the worst i recieved. wont be back. horrible place

Used to go here a lot. Lately every time I’ve got in there have been long waits and very low staff. Eventually I asked one of the staff members if they’d had a lot of staff quit and that was why they were short, and they said no, the new owner is just cutting everyone’s hours to save money

Disappointed again! Ordered the $9 meal deal, waited 20 mins for a small cheeseburger and fries! By this time my sundae had melted because they gave it to me first. There is no concept of multi-tasking here at all. The cook looked like he didn't know what he was doing. I have tried so many times to give this DQ a chance. Three times disappointed in a row, either cold burger, cold fries, gross gravy. I am shocked this location stays open, I am done!!

I visited Dairy Queen today and unfortunately had a disappointing experience despite the tasty Blizzards I ordered.

Firstly, Dairy Queen advertises a "Flip Promise" where if they fail to flip your Blizzard upside down before serving it, it should be provided for free. Despite pointing out the sign indicating this policy, the staff did not honor it when they neglected to flip my Blizzards and insisted I call to resolve the issue later, which was inconvenient and did not align with their advertised policy.

Secondly, I observed concerning hygiene practices during my visit. Employees were not wearing hairnets or gloves, which raised significant food safety concerns. Additionally, I witnessed an employee handling food in an unsanitary manner; he used a cloth that had fallen onto the counter to pick up strawberries and then placed them back into a sundae. This experience made me hesitant to continue with my order.

While the food itself was enjoyable, the issues I encountered significantly impacted my overall satisfaction. I hope Dairy Queen addresses these concerns promptly to ensure consistency in service quality and adherence to hygiene standards.

longest amount of time i’ve ever spent in a dairy queen. took them twenty minutes to get three people’s orders, there was only one girl behind the register looking like a lost dog and the workers don’t communicate. i ordered and paid without being spoken to more than a hello to tell me they were ready to take my order. these employees need more training.

The desserts are it's mainstay. Banana splits are pretty good. The Blizzard desserts are yummy. Ice cream cakes are tasty

Parking: Sometimes parking seems tight.

Kid-friendliness: Desserts are tasty and there are simple, inexpensive combos of cheeseburger, sundae, fries and drink and also chicken strips if desired

The young kid with the Afro with dyed tips does nothing but sit and talk and do anything but his job when customers are waiting and food is ready, wasted 3 ice cream cones and doesn’t even deserve minimum wage with the service given tonight..run the tapes back and you will see my food was ready sitting there and he proceeded to socialize with the girls rather than do his job took until the drive thru person served me my food because he wasn’t attending to the counter last time I will ever come here.
