While the restaurant is clean and hostess was friendly, we couldn't even order because after being seated no one came to take even our drink order so after waiting for 10minutes we just got up and left due to both our kids being hungry but not having our orders

I'm a fan of the Pannekoeken ("Dutch pancakes). They are like general European crepes. A bit spongy and flatter than normal American pancakes. They are crispy around the edges and perfect for putting jam on. I put jam on mine and roll it a section at a time with a bit of the hash, which is great with hollandaise. The crepe is really big and you may not finish it. Recommended. Service is decent.

The pancake (pancake comes with sausage, bacon, eggs, ham, and hash browns). One of the hams had an unusual taste, which unfortunately caused me an upset stomach. This was the only food I consumed for the entire day, and it caused diarrhea. Furthermore, the staff did not give us enough attention, as no one came to inquire about our meal and our coffee remained empty for an extended period. Despite these issues, I decided to leave a 15% tip, primarily due to the friendly and cheerful service provided by the lady in the red shirt who brought us our food.

Me and my 2 children went for breakfast today but we called earlier to get reservations unfortunately they said no reservations are made over the phone so we drove there. Once we entered there was already about 20 ppl in front of us with children if I recall there was about 7 children between 2 and 9 y old plus two of mine 5 and 7 We booked in with wait at least 30 min she said. After waiting over 20 min a couple came in in their 30s. Lady said to the server we booked our reservation over the phone and they took them right away to the table so I complained and they said oh sorry sometimes we make mistakes but I explained why they did sit this ppl when here is so many families with kids so long story short they kicked me out of of restaurant Mitch

Our first time and De Dutch didn’t disappoint. Our server was the sweetest, so helpful in making our choices with the menu. Their special Dutch pancakes (I can’t spell the name) were SO tasty. Could have been checked on a couple more times but when she was around our server was outstanding. The eggs Benny were prepared as requested and just the right amount to bring a little home for later. We added Nutella to the banana and strawberry order, perfect addition—they should add it to the list. We will definitely plan to include De Dutch on our future trips to BC!

I can’t even comment on the food cause we didn’t get any. We waited for 5 minutes just to be seated by a slow moving hostess who wiped the table as she brought us to it. The nice server came after another five minutes and took our drink orders. We walked out after another 15 minute wait because we still didn’t even have our drinks. Dirty tables everywhere and the restaurant was not even half full. Perhaps they were short staffed? Won’t go back. Sorry.

We visited on a Sunday morning and had an absolutely delightful server who sing-songed everything as she took our order. She was fantastic. The food however? I would expect more than from frozen hash browns and veg. It always sucks when great service is met with mediocre or poor quality food.
