Six of us went to dinner and had a warm welcome from the staff. The food was excellent, hot and without waiting forever. Cheese cake is the best I have ever eaten!
I had no idea why the biryani was so expensive, but I assumed it must be the best in the area. Unfortunately, it was the opposite. The dish tasted like a 'sahi pulao' served with a Bengali-style chicken curry, which felt as if the two were simply combined and sold as biryani. This was not the authentic experience I was hoping for. While I appreciate the effort, the dish did not meet my expectations for taste or value.

I ordered the shahi paneer spicy and it was really good and the cheese cake for dessert, tho the cheese was a bit too mushy for a cheesecake, it was tasty nonetheless. However my aunt ordered their tandoori chicken and the salad which came with it was abit too old and soggy and the chicken itself was mediocre, in general i think their non meat dishes would be a better option . The staff were friendly and the place gives a nice family run vibe.

Shahi paneer was bland. Butter chicken tasted like ketchup. Garlic naan was very thick, also kind of bitter.
Much prefer maple leaf Indian across the street. Much tastier and about $15 cheaper for the same order.

Food was honestly a bit lacklustre. Neither dish ordered was particularly flavourful, it didn’t taste bad, but not really as good as all the reviews have hyped it up as. My curry also had clumps of undistributed spices throughout. The price was $25 more than what we pay for the same at our “regular” spot, so feeling disappointed. The cheesecakes on display looked great though!

I visited GM restaurant for lunch with my family. It is a decent nice family restaurant with a great hospitality by owners. Restaurant is decorated with there family pictures. Owners are very friendly and polite. Staff is also polite and helpful. If I talk about food, everything was good and decent. We ordered saag paneer, cauliflower pakora and lunch vegetarian thali along with falooda. In bread we ordered onion naan and garlic naan, everything was delicious (homely food). Food was served on time. Which I really appreciate. Overall, it’s a nice family restaurant. ~Parking is free at the restaurant. ~high chair is available for kids ~kids menu available
