Golden Ears Cheesecrafters has truly outdone themselves with their tomato vegetable soup paired with grilled cheese. Served piping hot, the soup boasted a perfect balance of tangy tomatoes and hearty vegetables, creating a comforting and satisfying flavor profile. Each spoonful was a delight to the taste buds, warming both the body and soul. Paired with their expertly grilled cheese sandwich, the meal was elevated to a whole new level of culinary bliss. Golden Ears Cheesecrafters has truly mastered the art of comfort food, and their tomato vegetable soup with grilled cheese is an absolute triumph!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The cheese is so good! Have eaten at the bistro in the past and have never been disappointed!

I normally do not write reviews about places that I go to but I felt compelled to write one after my experience. Today me and two other people ate lunch at this establishment. The food was cold, did not taste fresh, the cheese tasted sour and rubbery, and tasted and smelled like cigarette smoke. We were the only people ordering meals at this time as it was slow. This has to be the most disgusting thing we have ever tried eating. It’s such a shame as it is a quaint location and the cashier was friendly. I don’t think we will be ever going back. In the future, it may be a good idea to maybe get someone new in the kitchen? Just a suggestion.

I ordered over 200$ worth of cheese, and they delivered it to someone else and said I gave them the wrong address and refused to send more cheese or a refund. (Even with the wrong address that doesn't exist, the shipping company didn't send it there either, but that's another issue) I was then guilt tripped into taking down my review initially.

Small cheese-focused menu, rustic atmosphere, minimal service. Food is nothing special. Cheese is on the bland side. Order took forever because the kitchen overlooked multiple items in our order.

Very personable staff. Offered sample tastes of product. Introduced themselves. When leaving they said goodbye and used our names. Great experience !

Great ambience and food —especially the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The coffee is great too. Highly recommend.

Met a friend for lunch and we were both very disappointed. The food, although edible was cold, parts over-cooked and the portions were incredibly small. I had the poutine which was so small and cold…how do you mess this up and frozen fries are cheap!!!! My friend had the quiche with a side soup and the quiche looked like it had been cooked four times throughout the day, was a mini-tart size, so very dry and the soup was ice cold. We spent ~ $40 for a very unsatisfactory meal…won’t go back!

Golden Rars Cheesecrafyers is our go-to-place for cheese. Excellent Gouda, Havarti, aged Cheddar, Brie, and excellent blues. Their stinging nettle and fenugreek, and blue cheeses are my favourites. All made on the premises from the milk of the family dairy herd just next door.Buy locally, and enjoy. We always bring our friends and relatives here. They also serve tea, coffee, meals, and goodies. Well stocked shop with lots of local/BC artisanal offerings as well.

Fancied some poutine so tried out this place. Gravy was really tasty and there was plenty of curds. Only downside is that it seemed like a small portion, but then my eyes are usually much bigger than my belly anyway.

About a year ago I had the opportunity to go through the Golden Ears Cheesecrafters and I was thoroughly impressed. They make their own cheese and sell lots of really neat things for the kitchen and cool stocking stuffers. I do not live in the area, however last night I have the privilege of enjoying evening with the staff and owners. They are wonderful people who put more love and care into the delivering a fantastic product than anyone I know. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Good place to visit overall. It's a touch on the more expensive side for small portions but great tasting food.
