Went there for Filipino breakfast — had sorts of Silogs (Longsilog, Tapsilog, Bangsilog, BBQ silog) it taste great esp the Tapsilog and they have good amount of serving too! Fantastic service as well, super friendly owner/staff. Great atmosphere. Super clean restroom. Definitely recommended if you’re craving for Silogs. Will be coming back again. ??

Excellent service and food. Impressive fusion of simple and delicious Japanese,
korean and filipino (tapsilog) dishes. The price is very reasonable. Ample free parking (2hrs). Accessible to public transportation.
If you're in Maple Ridge area, you should visit this place.

An absolute hidden gem in Maple Ridge! I’m thrilled that I work just 5 minutes away, allowing me to call and quickly pick up my orders. The service is outstanding, especially from Lian. I tried the chicken inasal and grilled pork belly, and both were incredibly authentic. They even served the chicken with calamansi during my first visit, which was fantastic. I’m excited to invite my coworkers and friends to try more items from the menu!

My toddler and I ordered pan fried veggie gyoza, a Dynamite roll and a diet coke.
We double checked that the gyoza was veggie when it was brought to the table, they confirmed it was. A few minutes later, after having cut it up for my daughter to cool down, they returned to say they had in fact made an error and it wasn't vegetarian. Luckily we hadn't ate any yet as we don't eat meat. They brought the veggie gyoza shortly after and kindly gave an extra couple of pieces. Unfortunately, between my daughter and I we could only stomach 1 between us as they were so saturated in oil and tasteless. The sauce was also pure sugar. I tried diluting it with soy but, it wasn't salvageable.
Initially one server asked how our food was when we'd tucked into the Dynamite roll which, I admit was alright despite being at least 25% more costly than our local favourite establishment. I paid the bill and tipped despite being incredibly disappointed as a first time customer. What was most annoying is, after having worked in the hospitality industry, if someone left 95% of their dish, I'd ask why and either replace or comp it. I'd also have been embarrassed serving something so poor from the kitchen. It was visibly inedible. They didn't seem bothered. I didn't want a fuss as my toddler was enjoying her rare lunch out but, sadly I won't be back.
Edit:
The owner kindly gave us spring rolls and miso soup to make up for our experience. We chose the spring rolls as we didn't want to gyoza again so, that's our decision. They were quite good and we are grateful for their effort. Sadly, no fault of the owners but, a warning to other customers... diamond parking are absolutely unrelenting. I was in the restaurant for less than 5 minutes, saw no clearly marked signage and parking spaces were limited yet somehow I was given an $86 ticket as I apparently parked in a small car space in our small pick up. I am disputing the ticket as even the staff member I spoke with said they couldn't see anything either. So, $6 just potentially cost me an extra $80.
Worth trying the restaurant based on how well they handled things but, walk instead of drive because of the parking vultures trying to meet their quota. ?♀️?

This place had been under new management for only 2 weeks when we ate there 2 days ago. They seem to have kept most of the original menu (and the original chefs) but added a fantastic array of Filipino dishes. Their SILOGS (garlic rice and egg combos) are authentic, taste good, and are reasonably priced. We tried the Crispy Pork Belly silog and the Inihaw na Liempo (Grilled Pork Belly) silog. Both were quite tasty. They have a decent HALO HALO and Muhlach ENSAYMADA is available. I think they are slowly adding more options.
The new owner is pleasant and is very open to suggestions.
I highly recommend this place for anyone craving Japanese, Korean (chicken), and now, Filipino (silog) dishes.

Recently went since rebranding, lots of new items on menu, ordered a variety of dishes, the pork belly was good along with the garlic rice, not as many rolls but they do have unique items. Was happy, the food was hot, and delicious.
Service was great, the place is bright and clean
So new the only real issue was that the appies did not come all together, they came one at a time and for a table of 4 was a bit challenging, same with the entrees.
Will for sure give it another go!!!!!!
Give then a bit more time to get organized.

Food is always good from here. Bench seats in booths have no cushioning and therefore very uncomfortable. Plus no music playing which takes away from the atmosphere.

$100 worth of food doesn’t really get you much here. They Skimped out on Tobiko when I paid extra for it. The spicy tuna roll was not spicy at all. Seems they forgot to add the hot sauce. The seaweed salad was mostly lettuce. Everything tasted ok. Getting take out these days isn’t cheap. I guess the restaurants are feeling the pinch too? Is that why they are skimping out on ingredients? Tough times we are in. I guess I will be eating out much less. It’s just not worth it.

-1 Hamada SushiThis was $20 for a half order of sashimi tuna Tataki which apparently only comes with four slices which seems ridiculous usually is six or seven and my slices were cut way too thick for the sashimi was very unenjoyable. Gomae was so grainy, was unable to finish eating it. Don’t think I’ll be going here again for A the taste and B the price.
