Hansel and Gretel Bakery

They did our wedding cake and it was so tasty! We did the tasting consult first to come up with the perfect combination of cake, icing, and fillings. We ended up renting our cake stand and silverware from them and unfortunately didn’t receive the right order the day of, which wasn’t caught because I sent my mom to pick them up! When we let them know they gave us our deposit back and were so lovely about it. The cake itself was STUNNING and so tasty! They were also able to make us a gluten free cupcake for my bridesmaid with celiac disease. Would gladly go back in the future!

Stopped by around 10 AM and expected freshly baked items got a couple muffins and they were far from fresh tasted quite stale and the cranberry had a sour rotting smell to it when I open the muffin, the fruit was definitely starting to go bad. Not sure how old they were, but they were definitely not made the same day.

Claudia was absolutely lovely to work with to create a beautiful dairy, gluten, nut, and coconut free cake for my mum's birthday last month. It has been a very long time since she could have a birthday cake, let alone a treat that had no consequences! Thank you thank you thank you to the team for such a gift. She still has a couple pieces kept in the freezer for those treat-needing days 😁

Fabulous Service, very accommodating! I ordered a custom birthday cake and cupcakes, they truly made the vision come to life! & they were delicious.

Came here on the hunt for Gluten free/dairy free cupcakes, which are hard to find. They had a slection of gluten free and dairy free items so picked two of those instead. I also spotted scones as I havent had one in about 20 years. The person said they just came out of the oven. Great taste and would go back for sure. Just when i received the scone it wasnt fresh from the oven rather cold. So wish there was a way to warm it up, but would recommend this place for sure.

My favourite bakery in Maple Ridge!!! Such an amazing selection of goodies. Their display is so fun for kids… young and old! Everything they make is delicious. Also, they are very accommodating and make amazing cakes to order! Gluten-free as well. On top of all that- they are generous to the community they serve. They have donated many treats to my community events. Highly recommend!!!

Cool little spot husband and wife team. I had the peanut butter cookie recommended by the husband and bought half dozen of macarons with different flavours. The lemon macaron was good ??. Will come back again. They have a booklet of cakes for you to choose a style from

Ordered a custom cake... turned out beautiful, exactly what we wanted! Inside of cake was really good but the buttercream had no flavor at all and tasted like biting into a bar of butter.

I am mostly communicated with Trea, And have nothing but positive things to say about her. I was a bit scattered with what I wanted from the cake, but she was able to organize everything and pick up on what I needed perfectly. From my very early conversations with her, she made the process so easy that I knew I didn’t have to worry about the cake at all. Hansel and Gretel also don’t try to upsell you- They let me know that I did not need to get a cake that was enough for all of my guests as there was likely going to be enough dessert. I really appreciate that. The artwork on the cake and the way set up the florals was absolutely stunning. They were able to stick to the theme very well, even though I described it to them In the beginning of my wedding planning before the theme was fully finalized.

Most importantly, I’m not really a cake person, but When I finally had a chance to enjoy the cake, I didn’t want to stop. It was so good!

I 5 days before, frantic for a children's unicorn themed cake. I had very little idea or instruction for them. When I picked up the cake I was blown away. Clearly the staff cared about making this cake magical for their customers! It was delicious too :)
