Legit the best sushi restaurant in the entire universe. And I am A GIRL WHO FIENDS FOR SUSHI!!! This is a family run establishment and they truly have what it takes to run a much loved and successful restaurant. It’s now in the communities hands to keep them afloat!! Truly the best bang for your buck, but it’s not even that…it’s the welcoming, the atmosphere, the true care and quality that goes into every single dish. My man is very picky when it comes to…everything. He was really looking forward to coming here, but he was absolutely not ready for it to be the best sushi experience he’s ever had. I couldn’t even stop him from ordering, he ordered so many things from the menu equaling out to be around $100 for just the two of us lol (they are beyond reasonably priced, he just ordered A LOT like 4 rolls, 2 special rolls and a bento box and a few other special items) 😅 but he was absolutely blown away. He lives on the island where they get the freshest of fresh fish, and he said this place blows all of the island’s sushi places out of the water 😍 ~ these pictures are only a few of the things we ordered, the others were devoured before I could take a picture haha. Legit 10/10 will always come back again, and if you’re hesitant to come DONT BE!! You WILL NOT regret it!! (Unless you live far away, in that case you will only regret it because you’ll be thinking about this sushi for the rest of your life) 🥰 I legit want to volunteer to stand outside of this restaurant as their unofficial mascot, ushering people in…because it really is quite small and easy to miss, BUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD NEEDS TO KNOW HOW AMAZING THIS PLACE IS. My family and I go out to eat every Saturday, and this place is always at the top of our list to eat at! The owners are very lovely and welcoming, it is always a pleasant dining experience here! On top of that, the food is consistently yummy and enjoyable :) I would recommend to eat here whether you would want to dine in or take out☺️

Came here today and, as always, it was amazing. Absolutely outstanding! The food here is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every dish tasted authentic and made with care. What truly sets this place apart is the owner and staff. They are unbelievably friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole dining experience feel personal and special. You can feel the pride they put into both the food and the service.
Highly recommended — one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever visited!

The salmon is great except it gave me salmonella on the walk back. I ended up puking three times.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here often since we moved back to Maple Ridge. The staff and the owner are all very friendly. We've received extra items for free from the owner because of her generosity. It's a very small restaurant but it feels homey. The party trays are the way to go because you get various delicious items for a good price. My girlfriend is addicted to the new inari sets. We highly recommend coming here for a lovely experience!

Local small business that deserves more than 5 stars. The staff are always so friendly, the service is always fast and efficient and the food is delicious! Not only is the quality amazing but it also comes at a super reasonable price.

Went in for takeout and was greeted right away by the friendliest staff — everyone at the door had a smile, which made such a great first impression. The place itself looks clean, modern, and really inviting. My food came out pretty quickly, and even though it was takeout, the presentation was so nice!
The food tasted amazing. Super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully cooked. Overall, such a great first visit! I’m so glad I stopped by, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes soon.

I stopped by to order take out on my way home. The folks at the front counter were very friendly. The food was of excellent quality and the wait wasn't very long.

The food was packaged with care and was stable during the car ride home.

I waited in the restaurant while my food was being prepared and enjoyed the comfortable, quiet atmosphere. If I had more time, It would have been nice to eat in.

However, the location is quite small and wouldn't be a good option for large groups. I could see it being hard to find a seat during the lunch or dinner rush.
