We ordered Toro and Salmon Sashimi which was SUPER fresh. The spicy sauce was just right and not too sweet.

Also ordered the Crazy roll and its definitely more crunchier and better than most places in town.

this is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers in Maple Ridge. the rolls are fresh and flavorful! the new owner and her daughter Bella is very friendly, making sure that everything is perfect. It has a cozy atmosphere that makes a perfect relaxing meal with family and friends. Whether you are a sushi aficionado or just looking to try something new, visit this place. you wont regret it!

Had a great lunch at this cozy spot in Maple Ridge! I ordered the bento box, spicy salmon sashimi and some appetizers and was impressed with the quality and portion sizes. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a Japanese spot in Maple Ridge!

The fish is super fresh and the sushi is delicious and well made. The owner is super sweet and the restaurant interior has a cute and cozy vibe. Highly recommend the red dragon roll and spicy salmon!

New management! She (the owner, also the chef) is kind and makes sushi neat and clean! The tiny sushi restaurant is located beside the value village. It's worth visiting and trying her food. It's a hidden tiny gem in Maple Ridge.

The pricing is great for sushi. The new owner is so kind and gave me a complimentary California roll on my to-go order. Added different sauces to their basic rolls like the dynamic and California roll, which only made them better!
Will definitely come back!

Take out use to be my go to place for sushi for years loved the old owners but just took take out less then 2 minutes from home soup and chicken and beef teraki all cold has no flavour anymore such a shame new owners are still very nice people

Hataru restaurant is super cozy and the food was amazing!

We got some nigiris, hot dragon roll, and udon!

The sushi was super good, and I think it's gonna be my new fave sushi spot!
