We stumbled upon this lovely cafe on our way to Alouette lake. Perfect pit stop for lunch. Service was very friendly and the food was super flavourful (we had the Mediterranean wrap and the brisket sandwich). Super yum!

We ordered Humble Root to cater our baby’s 1st birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience. After reaching out to several places for quotes, we felt frustrated. Most just threw out big numbers without really listening to what we needed. But Humble Root was completely different.
The owner of Humble Root personally called us to understand our needs, budget, and preferred tastes. He was incredibly thoughtful, recognizing how busy life can be for parents, and went above and beyond to make everything stress-free. He customized a full menu, mains, sides, and desserts, all at a very affordable price.
The food was delicious, hot, and beautifully prepared and it came complete with cutlery, utensils, and thoughtful extras at no additional cost. Every guest loved the food, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care and attention that went into everything.

We were weary travellers, with an extra large dog, and we were blessed to find this amazing spot. The food was plentiful and delicious. Our dog was welcomed and spoiled and we were transformed to happy holidayers once again. Thank you!
This a must on your way to Golden Ears Provincial Park. We were served by Brooke, She is awesome, very friendly, attentive and caring. Food was delicious, Hollandaise sauce were nice and portions were good. We came and sit down with our dog at the patio! Totally a good call!
