Jim’s Pizza – A Tale of Two Pies Few dishes are as comforting as a simple cheese pizza, especially from a restaurant tied to nearly twenty years of family tradition. Jim’s Pizza has been that for us since 2006—the very first meal in our new Maple Ridge home, and many times since. But our most recent order confirmed what we’ve suspected for a while: under the new ownership, Jim’s is no longer the same. We picked up two cheese pizzas in the same order. The first one we opened was a disaster: crust far too dark, cheese browned instead of bubbling, and the taste dry and lifeless—more like reheated leftovers than fresh pizza. The texture sealed it: stiff, brittle, like cardboard, with no chew at all.
Almost as an afterthought, we opened the second box. To our frustration, this pizza was perfect—golden, evenly baked, and exactly what you’d expect from a trusted neighbourhood pizzeria. The contrast made it worse: two pizzas, prepared at the same time, yet one good and one completely inedible. That is carelessness, pure and simple.
When we called to give feedback, the response was even more disappointing than the food. The staff were dismissive, rude, and offered only excuses. No accountability. Jim’s Pizza was once a place we loved. Now, after nearly twenty years of loyalty, they’ve lost our trust completely. And once trust is gone, it cannot be reheated.

Now that's what I'm talking about. This is how pizza is supposed to be. Tons of fresh toppings and great price point. Got The Everything and a back bacon and pineapple and wasn't disappointed.

Jim’s Pizza nailed it with their Greek thick crust “Everything” pizza! The crust was thick, golden, and zero flop—pure perfection. Every bite was a flavor explosion, exactly what I wanted. Delivery was fast, and it arrived hot. Jim’s is my new go-to for pizza done right! 🍕 #JimsPizza

I live in PoCo and go to Jim's for the pizza. (Sorry, that's all I've tried). It is worth h the drive, even with kids with me. Well worth it.

Wanted to try some of Maple Ridge's best pizza and was extremely disappointed. Not only did it take forever to get our pizza, but we also found a straggly gray hair in our food. Have these people never heard of hair nets!?
P.S. The prices listed on their website are WRONG and the pizzas are even more overpriced!

Just found out last night Venetis pizza in Surrey is permanently closed! My friend told me about Jims pizza in maple ridge..just finished having the royal and meatatarian..excellent! Old school pizza without thin slices of almost see through pepperoni you seem to get at most places..my new pizza place..from dismay to losing Venetis to elation with Jims in less than 24 hrs.

We went there for a birthday party. I believe you can rent the 2nd floor. They have some activities, like arcade, Soccer table, hockey table etc. The place is old, but clean. The pizza were good, very classic. Good customer services, and staff super friendly.

I took my husband to the Maple Ridge Jim's pizza because I remember it was was so good growing up.. we went in tonight ans sat down ordered and waited 53 min to eat ... when I asked the waitress why she said thet they had no sausage Prepared! I was thinking that's very unprepared. Then when we got it I had one pice and pulled out a medium sized grey hair from the sause ! I was horrified. I told the waitress who was apologetic but we paid anyway and left the pizza on the table . I saw the cook and saw he longer grey hair !! So disgusting ! Unsanitary and way to long to eat . Gone way downhill! Wear a hair net !

Its been a favourite for over 30 years and Donna, the lovely owner, works darn hard to make everything just right! Check out their meeting space, Aloha, upstairs as well! Suitable for all ages for parties, meetings and gatherings.
