Went to Aloha Life lounge (upstairs section of Jim's Pizza) with a friend and our two toddlers and baby. Server told us to come downstairs each time we wanted to order something because she's soooo busy working alone (which initially I felt bad for her but keep reading). She came up to do something and didn't take our order while she was there. When I came down to order, the restaurant was empty and she was eating something at the desk doing nothing. She would bring our food up and leave it at a table at the top of the stairs silently rather than bringing it to us. When I came downstairs to pay my bill, one of the cooks was sitting with her at the desk chatting with her because it was so dead. He told me to "smile more" twice which I thought was extremely rude (I was actually not even that pissed at this point and was being kind).TL;DR - Terrible experience with server not wanting to serve so she can sit and do nothing, having to leave my toddler and baby upstairs to order food etc, no customer service or food service upstairs, male cook telling women to "smile more," and restaurant not replying to my concern (hoping the server who sits at the desk didn't just delete my email).This was during my second visit that month and I was planning to bring friends there regularly since all my friends have toddlers. First visit with a different server was great and welcoming. Pizza was thick and delicious.I sent an email to Jim's Pizza outlining my concerns and received no response.

I Ordered 2 for 1 baked lasagna with meatballs and extra cheese. The meat sauce was so watery that it was disgusting to eat. My meatballs were also missing and I called and let them know what was wrong, it was at that point when they told me that they were out of meatballs and forgot to call me and let me know. I paid the full bill at delivery so I paid for the meatballs. Also they don’t replace meals or give refunds. An Incredibly frustrating experience and one I won’t soon forget. I have long been a customer of Jim’s pizza going back to the days of Eva’s restaurant. The lasagna and meat sauce dish is one of my all time favourites, the sauce is delicious. There will always be times when an order isn’t perfect and I understand that the dine in restaurant is constantly busy just like delivery. Mistakes happen. It is only because I am very familiar with their traditional meat sauce that I wrote this review. I’m more than willing now after the response from the owner to give them another chance to get the order right and deliver the lasagna with meat sauce and meatballs that I love. Thankyou for your timely reply to my review. I look forward to ordering again soon.

Had my son’s 3rd birthday party here! The staff was friendly and helpful! They even accommodated a child that had a dairy & egg allergy with a special pizza! The play area was clean & we even got a fun Chase character included in the birthday package! The kids loved it! Will definitely have his birthday party here again next year & visit for dine in & play! Thank you!

what the hell happened to jims pizza ,been ordering from here for 30 plus years ,seems hit a miss some times ,last night (sat mar 10/24) ordered the usual , one of the pizzas completely wrong ,as we live 20 mins away ,its a 40 to 50 min round trip ,called them they said it would be 2hrs before they could do any thing ,told us next time they would look after us with the original pizza we ordered ,call next time only to be told all they could do was a 10 $ credit ,at least me n eds is in town now

worst pizza and customer service i’ve had in maple ridge. the food was edible bit mediocre for the price. the pizza tasted like a frozen one, and the pasta sauce tasted like ketchup. when i brought up my concerns over the quality of a $150 order i was offered a $10 credit. trust me there are much better pizza options in maple

Checked it out for my son’s birthday we were not able to eat upstairs and play but the server let us look at the play space, which is awesome for a young child’s birthday (1-6yr old). The pizza was good! I got the veggie and my husband got fourteen meat pizza. Overall good experience! I feel like if the paint was freshened up and more moms knew about this place it would be busy with parents and toddlers haha! Thank you!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza was good! Pineapple,Olive, bell peppers & lots of cheese!

We were seated right away and brought waters. 10 minutes later we were able to order. We were also the only table in the restaurant so 10 minutes is a painfully long time to wait to order. my daughter wanted Carbonara but they were out.. My ravioli tasted like Chef Boyardee with good cheese on top. service was somewhat friendly but far too slow. our meal and experience did not match the $71 for 3 people price tag. Gave it a shot even with word that it's not as good since the original owners sold. unfortunately, they were right.

I think they need another lesson from the previous owner of how to make pizza.Undercooked doughy with minimal ingredients . Very disappointing from a 45 year customer. Don’t worry you’ll get advertising when you rip the public off .Your making a living off a reputation of the old guard , try not reinventing the wheel.

Sat down to have dinner with a group of 4. Everything we wanted to drink they were out of that day, having not gotten their liquor order in. It wouldn't have been a problem had they told us about it before sitting down. Hearing "we're out of that" on repeat gets frustrating really fast. Server was not knowledgeable about their recipes or the food they serve, she didn't even know what bechamel was. Half the time she seemed confused. Service was slow. Food was not good. Dough was tasty but we found it to be too thick, and the ingredients were not great, and just wayyyy too many as well. Pick up an italian pizza cook book and I guarantee you'll see 3-4 fresh toppings on any pizza, not 8 mediocre ones. Pizza was way too salty as well. The only thing that saved this review to rate 2/5 stars for food were the sauteed mushrooms, which were great. We ate most of the pizza because we were hungry and every other place was either even worse, or booked solid, but the pizza was mediocre at best. We will not be back.

First things first we waited for a table for 2 hours and they didnt tell us it was a 2 hour wait. Workers were very rude and food took so long to get to our table. The food was ok but workers were very disrespectful. I did go a long time ago but i just decided to write one now.dont waste your money here and go to a different place.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. We pre ordered for 7pm delivery for a birthday. Pizza arrived at just after 6. When we called to see what happened the lady said “I put 7pm on the ticket so idk what to tell ya” I didn’t want the pizza to go to waste and have them remake it for the correct time (even though the birthday girl wasn’t even here yet!) so I asked if there was any way she could offer a discount for me to take these early? She said all she could do was $5. Ridiculous. Don’t offer pre orders if you can’t read times on the order!! This is the second time this has happened! Maybe get an online ordering system like every other place. We will never order again.
