I am glad I made the trip to Maple Ridge to try the Kanaka Coffee house. When I arrived, I immediately adored the establishment’s traditional interior aesthetic and overwhelming café drink menu. I was told by the staff that the business has been around eighteen years and is still doing great. Being inside the café is like being in a very nice cabin.

I ordered the Wicked Thai Chicken soup and the Pumpkin Spiced Latte with whipped cream. The soup was fantastic and did not taste watered down whatsoever. The Thai chicken was full of piquancy and zest. The latte really stood out with how potent the pumpkin spice was and the whipped cream was a very nice addition. The drink was thoroughly enjoyable with how sweet and flavourful every sip was. I also ordered the Apple Caramel Muffin and the Haystack Brownie; both were very great baked goods to follow-up from the soup. I really like the service there; staff is very friendly.

I thoroughly enjoyed eating at Kanaka and I know everyone that went there does as well. I cannot wait to come to patronize at this lovely café again.

A friend, Danielle Gray, introduced me to your place. We've met up there several times now, and it has always been AMAZING! I've tried different lattes and sandwiches - All delicious.

Such a wonderful spot to pop in! Fantastic food and drink options and the staff are truly one of a kind! If you want a cozy place to work, study or just need a good pick me up in your day I HIGHLY recommend. I’ve never been to a store with more heart and passion put in!!! The employees have made my day on numerous occasions. Good people. Good drinks. Good time. Note to owner: Please pat yourself on the back!! You’ve done a fantastic job at cultivating a warm and welcoming environment with a well rounded menu and incredible service. My favourite store to stop in by far ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love each time I go, staff are very nice and the shop is so cute.

The only thing that could make this shop better is hot food (like paninis, breakfast sandwiches, etc). Can't wait to try more of the baked goods too!

Lovely cafe with great service and atmosphere. I had a Marble Mocha and Haystack Brownie on a Monday afternoon. Both were rich and sweet and it wasn't too crowded or noisy.

A great community feel coffee place a few bookshelves full of books. Excellent muffins and decent coffee. This place is open at 6am? Nice! I live in S Surrey and the only coffee shops open at that time are Starbucks. This place is what Starbucks was meant to be.

Sasha was the nicest person I have ever interacted with and my coffee is always yum
