Kitchen On The Ridge

I used to buy spicy squid for 15 years, it was the best, but now I threw it out, because it was take out, and it was too far for me to drive back. Squid was as hard as a hardboard, couldn't bite a piece of, so disappointed 😞

Me and my girlfriend just ordered takeout and I’m honestly so disappointed. This use to be my favourite spot in town for Chinese and now idk if I’ll ever come back. We got 2 Combo B’s and the chow mein was awful and packed full of undercooked vegetables, and our sides were overcooked and very bland. Again, I’m really disappointed because I know that good food has come out of that kitchen before and it’s a long way to fall to be serving what we took home tonight.

Food was really good and protions were huge.
Will now be going there from now on.
Well worth the money.
What really surprised me was she would not take a dip. (wow)

We always take it to go, aways good, hot & tasty. Great Egg Foo Yungs.
Not sure how big the portions are when you dine in, but nice portions for take out. Atmosphere is a bit cold, hard wooden chairs.

Waited 15 minutes for my order even though I was 5 minutes late for picking it up.

My Mrs has bin toking boot this restaurant for some time now. And i Finially had thee opportunity to try it. It Is Absolutely Brilliant! Every bite was delicious. I’m out in South Surrey/White rock, and it’s tha commute for this food. I want to thank tha team they have there and I will Definitely be back, cheers.

Feels like I just discovered a hidden gem in my neighbourhood. Plenty of places have good food, but it's rare to find one that nails both taste and portions. Too bad we were in such a rush to dig in that I forgot to snap some photos. I guess that just gives me a reason to go back soon! 😁

Ordered the following yesterday. 1. Large Wor Wonton. Just ok bland 2.chicken fried rice. Good 3. Sweet and sour chicken with pineapple. Disgusting chicken was hard and chewy. Threw it in the garbage 4.Shanghai Style fried thick noodles bland tasteless just cabbage and noodles. 5.Egg rolls good For over $100 bucks this was terrible. Don’t know why all these good reviews. I’ll never eat there ever again.

Ordered take out for the first time and everything was delicious! Got bbq pork chow mein, chicken fried rice, beef and mixed vegetables and some sort of spicy garlic salt pork which was all incredible! Nothing too greasy and the portion sizes were huge!!! Will definitely be ordering here again!

Walked in to a surprisingly quiet restaurant. Asked the couple in there how the food was the reply was great. We were seated and offered water and tea while we looked over the menu. This place was quiet for a Friday night but the takeaway section was in full swing. We ordered a set meal for 2 plus my favourite chicken & sweat corn soup. Seriously these food portions were outstanding! The chicken in the soup was chunky, not the regular pulled pieces, and hot!!! The set menu was for 3 dishes and we could t even finish one of them. Best place I’ve eaten for portion size ever! Given the out dated picture of the restaurant I can understand why people wouldn’t want to go in there but it has been updated as per the picture. We would recommend this place without a doubt!

We have always loved Kitchen on the ridge until I tryed to place our regular order and was now told I could no longer have have half rice nd half noodles. I could also no longer add a 4th item for an additional charge both which we have always done. Sadly we will be going elsewhere if you ou can not accommodate your customers
