Love Maple Sushi, The wife and I have been eating here for 6 years now and have never had a bad experience. My wife doesn’t eat that much but I can crush me some sushi lol. I definitely recommend!

***After the experience I had last time I was excited to go back this evening and have some sushi and a beer. I ordered the flaming tuna which is something I’ve never tried there before. Unfortunately they were so heavy handed on what tasted like garlic Mrs Dash that when I took one bite I had to spit it out. In the menu description it didn’t even mention it having any dried garlic sprinkle on it. I told the waitress that it wasn’t good and I couldn’t eat it because of the spice. When I went to pay the bill it was still on there. I was surprised as I had expressed that it was inedible and I couldn’t even eat it. I said I felt like I should not have to pay for an item I only took one bite of…The best the owner could do for me is give me %30 off. I said it was unfortunate as customer service these days is king and seeing as I lived across the street I would have become a loyal customer and spent hundreds over time. I understand that times are tight for small businesses but I would have made up in spades but seeing as they couldn’t even take a $10 item off my bill they’ve lost a customer. Sorry Maple Sushi.
Ok. I’ll admit that I’ve driven by Maple Sushi a thousand times and haven’t given it a second thought. I’m glad I finally stopped in. The staff was friendly, it was a fun inviting atmosphere, the sushi was great and the saki was smooth. For my first time there I stuck to the basics and tried the chicken teriyaki bento box and salmon oshi. I’m happy that there is a great sushi place within steps of where I live and I can wait to stop in again and get a little more adventurous. Perhaps it will become a Friday night ritual.

My FAVOURITE sushi place! Great prices, excellent portions, the service is always so fast and the people working are so kind every single time. It is definitely more of a take out joint so I love to dine in, the food seems to come out within minutes! Not to mention the flavour of everything is fantastic, they also have specials and so many options that other sushi places do not have. I’ve eaten from here to downtown and it will always be my favourite spot hands down. 🍣❤️
