Sunday August 31 ,2025 at 4:05 pm my wife called the 22780 Lougheed hwy Maple Ridge McDonald’s store and asked how to place an order for 20 cheese burger meals to be picked up.we had tried to order with the McDonald app but it wouldn’t allow us to do so because of our location being to far away from the store. The store manager would not take the order over the phone. When we offered to pay up front for the order the manager said he couldn’t do it. My wife had broken her foot that very morning and she was not able to go get the order and she had a family member coming to pick it up. The manager was rude to my wife and when asked his name he refused to say his name. Then he hung up on my wife while she was still asking questions about how she would be able to get this order completed. I then called the store back and talked to the same manager about the situation and he lied to me about what had happened and accused my wife of being rude to him. I told him I was standing beside my wife and heard the phone conversation as her phone was on speaker. We also happened to have a baby camera on in our house that had inadvertently recorded the phone conversation and the manager hanging up on my wife while. I asked the manager if I could get a contact person to call that could deal with this issue and he said no. He said it is a corporate store. I asked him what the reason for hanging up on my wife . He said he was busy and that why he hung up. I asked him why he didn’t at least say good bye ,that would have been polite. I have never once wrote a negative review of any establishment or business. That I can prove by the history of my reviews. I believe that it is warranted in this case because of the way this manager conducted himself. If this is a reflection of the way he runs the store ,then NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE. I Will not be going to this particular store ever again

Olivia is truly exceptional at McDonald’s! Every time I’ve visited, she stands out for her friendliness and how welcoming she is to customers. She’s one of the best at what she does, always going above and beyond to create a positive experience. Honestly, if McDonald’s hired more people like her, the company would surely thrive even more. With her skills and attitude, Olivia is definitely capable of reaching a top position in the company. She’s a real asset!

The staff were amazing. I pre-ordered in bulk and when we arrived everything was all set and organized. I am amazed. Another time I went there, Florence, went above and beyond to cater my order. She’s amazing.
They don’t know what drive through means or something. They shouldn’t be telling people to park and wait for your food. And if they do they should tell you at the drive through kiosk. Plus with something as simple as chicken nuggets there shouldn’t be a hold up. Specially at 8 o’clock in the evening.

The service is ok and they tend to get the order right most of the time. However this place is almost always filthy and it seems no one cleans up anything. Stayed there for almost an hour and no one touched the dirty floors or disgusting sticky tables.
