We’ve driven by this pub many times and finally decided to stop in after a hike with my parents, who were visiting from out of town. It’s rated 4.2, but unfortunately our experience didn’t reflect that.
We ordered four pints and four meals: a burger, a chicken burger, a veggie wrap, and fish and chips. Only about half of the order came out as requested. The chicken burger was supposed to come with a Caesar salad (as clearly stated on the menu for an extra charge), but arrived with fries instead. When we asked about it, the server initially said all burgers come with fries and had to go back to check the menu.
More concerning, the veggie wrap arrived with chicken in it. When we pointed this out, we were told “no, that’s the veggie wrap,” until we showed the chicken inside. It was taken back and replaced about seven minutes later. The replacement wrap was very basic — just lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese — and didn’t feel worth the price.
The fish and chips came with three very small pieces that tasted like they came straight out of a box.
There was no acknowledgment or apology for the multiple errors, and we were charged the full bill — $120 — which felt excessive for the quality of food and overall experience.
We were really hoping for a great local spot to bring family, especially since my parents were visiting, but unfortunately we left disappointed. I’m sharing this in the hope that the restaurant can improve its quality control and customer service.

The Ranch's Burger night is one of the best Ridge Wed eve deals. The star is a Homemade, extra heavy patty, spilling over the edges of a fresh bun and fixings, with hot crispy fries!
My only disappointment is the super strong scent of PineSol permeating the entire dining room space. The cleaner is used to clean table tops and most likely multiple other surfaces in the space. The cleanliness is reassuring, but the overwhelming Pine Sol odour is not a good mix when trying to enjoy the food. Please save it for the bathroom, and replace with a low or non scented disinfectant intended for eating areas. Until I can alternately sit on the outdoor patio, I cannot return.

They charged 75 cents for extra mayo on a hamburger, a condiment. Previously charged $1.23 for an extra 1/2 slice if onions. Substitute fries with soup or Cesar salad and it's an additional $6.00. If you don't get an older waitress, service sucks even if you are the only patron in the pub. I went every weekend over a year for a burger and two beers. The extra charges for onions and mayo are recent. Obviously the owner has no clue on how to run a business, won't be back. If the owner had an email contact on his website I would not have post on google.

The place look exactly the same when Jack owned the only difference is the menu?, went for dinner and I ordered the enchiladas?, they were discussing dry chicken, tomatoes, green onions and, one of them just had tomatoes and green onions? Definitely not going back.

they left all doors open allowing mosquitoes to bombard us. we took our food to go. Waitress didnt seem to friendly and any staff that walked by refused to smile back.
