Shinobi Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Been eating at this restaurant since I was a baby, I truly love this place❤️

Fantastic sushi in Maple Ridge.

I stopped by Shinob Sushi in Maple Ridge while on a road trip, and it exceeded my expectations.
The staff was super accommodating, despite not typically serving dine-in customers, and even lent us plates and cutlery.

The Teriyaki Bento was a standout, with perfectly balanced flavors and generous veggies. The Beef Udon Noodle Soup was also a winner, with tender meat and a rich, savory broth. Plus, the prices were very reasonable.

This place is primarily a take-out spot with a couple of tables and chairs available, mostly for customers waiting to pick up their orders.

With great food and top-notch customer service, Shinob Sushi gets a thumbs up from me. Highly recommended!

Always enjoyed food at Shinobi, but went last night with reserve for 8 people....waited a while for order taking ,then things were coming from kitchen really slow,some people got whole meal,some got bits and 1 person didn't get there's till most everyone was done...we actually had to ask for where her meal was. Some items ordered were forgotten!
Never had such terrible service....will not be going back.

I can't review the food because after over 40 minutes of waiting after placing the order the staff had completely forgotten about it and the food never came. Waited 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the door. Another 25 for someone to take our order at the table(we had to ask to place an order as no one had come to us). Then waited another 40min before asking the staff if the order was on the way. We quickly relaized they had completely forgot and tried to start making it then. I would have been ok with is but at this point we had been waiting over an hour and a half for food and still hadn't even been given the glass of water I had asked for twice. Every staff member just kept walking by and ignoring us. There's multiple reviews of this restaurant with the same level of service. Not worth coming here knowing you may never get to eat.

We always come here for bento boxes, but this is the first time that we order a sashimi boat. It contains 40 pieces of sashimi. To my surprise, it includes 4 spot prawns in it! Good value and fresh food! Definitely worth to recommend. ( I have eaten a few pieces before I took the picture)

Have been coming here for over 4 years and haven’t been disappointed yet. This time we ordered the Sashimi Boat. It was the first time I had Spot Prawns at a restaurant. Very impressed since the prawns were only starting to become available last week.

My favourite place to order online. Restaurant is a little small with a few seats. Their prices for their special rolls are excellent. My favourite is the Crazy Tuna Roll!

Best place for sushi in maple ridge 💯. Jennifer is the best waitress ever !!!

Everything was delicious and service was great. We are excited to come back, the hardest part is trying to decide what rolls to order, they have so much to choose from.

Still one of the best in Maple Ridge! Been coming here for years, yesterday was my 1st time back in quite a while and it did not disappoint. They've done a lil reno, place looks great, freshly painted and clean bathrooms. Food was tasty, service was fast and friendly. Never a disappointment, can always count on Shinobi for great sushi!
We ordered spicy agadashi tofu, tuna sashimi and the hot night roll. Would recommend them all
