Don’t come to this location majority of their employees are so rude. They like to argue with customers about drinks and if you ask them about a position for a job they go about it like you’re incapable of doing their job. They have attitude towards their customers and it’s just toxic

I want to give a big shout out to Paige for her fantastic customer service and impeccable vibes. My son and I came in for drinks today and were greeted warmly and with a ton of personality by this staff member. It brightened our day interacting with someone who seems to enjoy their work immensely. If I owned my own business, she is the type of person I would search high and low to find. Thank you for the pick-me-up today Paige!

Best Starbucks in town. I always grab a refresher from this starbucks when I'm visiting the mall, and I'd say my drinks were consistent. The staff never fails to greet the customers :)

If you’re looking for the best caramel frappuccino in town, the Starbucks at Valley Fair Mall in Maple Ridge is the place to go. I’ve tried caramel fraps at many different locations, but this one truly stands out. It’s consistently smooth, creamy, and perfectly sweet, with just the right blend of espresso, caramel, and whipped cream. Every time I order it here, it tastes like it was made with extra care.

What makes this location even better is the friendly staff. The baristas are warm, welcoming, and always seem genuinely happy to be there. Whether it’s a quick smile at the counter or a little friendly conversation while you wait, their great customer service really makes a difference. You feel like more than just another customer—they take the time to get your order right and make your day a little brighter.

The store itself is clean and cozy, a great spot to sit down and relax if you’re taking a break from shopping at Valley Fair Mall. Service is usually quick, even during busy hours. All in all, this location is definitely worth a visit. Great drinks, amazing caramel frap, and the kind of staff that makes you want to come back.

I spend a lot of money at Starbucks and usually have a good experience, but this location has been disappointing. My order is wrong more often than not, even when I clearly explain it.
I also think customer service should be more consistent. Kian, in particular, came off a bit cold — no smile, no effort to make the experience welcoming.

Nice clean spot, lots of foot traffic. Friendly engaging staff, drink was on point. Was left wondering where my drink was since when I gave my name I was misheard twice. But wasn’t her fault was loud. Before that day I never really thought of myself as a Chuck lol. Asked the other young woman at the end who went though the list to see my was the only of that drink ordered.

I usually place my orders online, and the last couple of times I’ve had to ask separately for a pup cup for my boss’s dog since it can’t be added online. But today, when I came to pick up my order, the pup cup was already there with it — without me even asking! 🥹 The staff at this Starbucks are always so kind and attentive. It’s truly a pleasure coming here.

I ordered online for pick up to get my stars before 11am. Unfortunately, when my drink was ready I noticed it was missing all the strawberry. I showed the barista my order sticker and tried to point out that it looked like it wasn’t followed at all. She rushed back to put cold foam on top before I could explain that I asked for strawberry puree, strawberry cold foam, only a few pumps of strawberry syrup. So for the second time I had to say that the drink was incorrect. At this point another barista took on my drink. I am not usually so picky, but I did pay $9.35 for a drink and felt a bit like a nuisance. I understand they were busy and thankful they fixed the drink without complaint. However, I tend to over think and hope that the barista knows I do appreciate their hard work and I really wasn’t trying to be a difficult customer. I am just really into strawberry matchas lately and I customized according to previous drinks I have had before.

was given chicken instead of vegan pocket. i like this starbucks & usually everything is well. however i received the wrong item even though they are distinguishably different & labelled. i understand mistakes happen, but i don’t want this to happen to anyone else in the future. they offered me a replacement however i felt the need for some compensation i.e refund + replacement. they said they couldn’t do both, yet after a little bit of protest she did it for me. i hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.. i am glad to see a vegan food option but these mistakes should be avoided. thank you

Starbucks, You Can Do Better!

Okay, what’s up with Starbucks’ birthday perk program?! 😅 Not to be greedy, but did you know you have to be a registered app user for at least 3 months to even qualify for a free birthday drink? I’ve had the app for five years and never bothered to claim it—until this year.

I had an amazing, relaxing birthday and thought, why not treat myself to my special birthday coffee? 🎉 Walked into a Starbucks, feeling all excited, only to be denied because there was a mistake in my birthday on my account. The only way to fix it? Calling customer service, which, let’s be real, is not the easiest thing to get through.

Come on, Starbucks, you can do better. A birthday treat shouldn’t feel like a customer service battle. LOL.

Got served by the friendliest young lady ever. Very polite and her customer service was spot on. Even though it was busy and under pressure. I have not had a better service anywhere. What a credit Paige.
