I have been to a few events catered by sunflower cafe and have been floored every time. The level of care that goes into everything they do is obvious and I have definitely eaten my own weight in their homemade tortilla chips.

We had our 45person wedding reception at sunflower cafe on Sep 6 2025 after an intimate forest elopement earlier in the day. It was absolutely perfect. The majority of our guests were comfortably seated in the gazebos - a unique wedding experience for them - and our head table was in the master tent, which also housed the bar, our live musician, and a well sized dance floor for our group. The food and drinks were delicious and we heard good things about both all night. Service was smooth considering our rather tight schedule. Sound system for music and speeches was great. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and unique. Great communication, and throughout the planning process everything felt under control. Absolutely recommend for a unique, intimate event, it really was the perfect way to celebrate our wedding!!

It was our first time and we were very much looking forward to it - but tbh the food was quite disappointing that night. The service and atmosphere were both great. We did write to the restaurant - and to their credit they have responded and invited us back. Stay tuned for an update on the rating - and hopefully it's much better š¤š¼. We need places like this out in our neck of the woods.

Thereās a certain romance to a rainy-day escape into the countryside š§ļøš». We drove 60km to Maple Ridge, a seasonal farm-to-table treasure open May 1 ā Sept 28, where the mist over the fields set the stage for an unforgettable five-course tasting menu.
The handmade agnolotti in a velvety butternut squash sauce, topped with toasted seeds and crisp sage, was my favorite course of the evening: comforting, elegant, and unforgettable.
And the roasted eggplant with tangy pickled cabbage surprised with its smoky depth and vibrancy.
There were more courses beyond these, each as thoughtful and beautifully composed, but what stayed with me most was the way the meal felt rooted in its surroundings. Sharing it with my mother made the evening more special.

An incredible concept in the perfect location with outstanding service. Truly a hidden gem! Each dish is an explosion of flavor, either bringing back cherished memories or creating new ones that will stay with you. This was, without a doubt, one of the best dinners Iāve had in BC in the past 10 years. Wow! Please never change!
My boyfriend and I came here tonight for the first time after stumbling across one of their signs. Once we looked up the name, which I instantly thought was adorable. We needed to come try it out. We have never had a set course dinner before, let alone one that presents so beautifully. The location alone makes any date night so magical. With the gazebos, flowers and string lights all around, the romantic atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful night. The staff was very knowledgeable on the menu, as we learned that it is different quite regularly. The gorgeous establishment sits on all their land where they grow all the produce for their mealsā¦and let me tell you, you can taste how fresh every bite is. Each and every plate that came out was a work of art. You can tell that they not only care about the guest, but their craft as well. Have never been so blown away by a night out quite like this. We are definitely coming back to see what else they come up with as I will probably be dreaming about this meal for some time
Wife and I went for dinner on a Saturday night. Weather had been iffy for the last few days so the restaurant was on the quiet side. Dinner was good for the most part. We started with a Borsht Salad each. Salad was wonderful, simple yet very tasty and pleasing to the eye. My wife had the Roast Duck served with Ramen noodles, very tasty and filling. I ordered the Halibut fish and chips which was halibut served with a warmed tartar sauce and hand made salt and vinegar chips. My only complaint was the warmed tartar sauce overpowered the halibut. We then split the Cheesecake desert, which was also very good. Overall, a very good experience. Service was excellent.

Well . It is known that gourmet food is original and delicious. This was cold and not great. The waitress seemed irritated when we did not order alcohol. It was just not at par with what was advertised. Will I go again. No thanks
