An incredible concept in the perfect location with outstanding service. Truly a hidden gem!
Each dish is an explosion of flavor, either bringing back cherished memories or creating new ones that will stay with you.
This was, without a doubt, one of the best dinners I’ve had in BC in the past 10 years.
Wow! Please never change!

My boyfriend and I came here tonight for the first time after stumbling across one of their signs. Once we looked up the name, which I instantly thought was adorable. We needed to come try it out.
We have never had a set course dinner before, let alone one that presents so beautifully.
The location alone makes any date night so magical. With the gazebos, flowers and string lights all around, the romantic atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful night.
The staff was very knowledgeable on the menu, as we learned that it is different quite regularly.
The gorgeous establishment sits on all their land where they grow all the produce for their meals…and let me tell you, you can taste how fresh every bite is.
Each and every plate that came out was a work of art. You can tell that they not only care about the guest, but their craft as well.
Have never been so blown away by a night out quite like this.
We are definitely coming back to see what else they come up with as I will probably be dreaming about this meal for some time

Wife and I went for dinner on a Saturday night. Weather had been iffy for the last few days so the restaurant was on the quiet side. Dinner was good for the most part. We started with a Borsht Salad each. Salad was wonderful, simple yet very tasty and pleasing to the eye. My wife had the Roast Duck served with Ramen noodles, very tasty and filling. I ordered the Halibut fish and chips which was halibut served with a warmed tartar sauce and hand made salt and vinegar chips. My only complaint was the warmed tartar sauce overpowered the halibut. We then split the Cheesecake desert, which was also very good. Overall, a very good experience. Service was excellent.

Well . It is known that gourmet food is original and delicious. This was cold and not great. The waitress seemed irritated when we did not order alcohol. It was just not at par with what was advertised. Will I go again. No thanks

I frequently visit Sunflower Cafe and am beyond pleased each time. The service is phenomenal and the food is always delicious. This is my go-to restaurant for taking out my friends and family for a special occasion.
The seating is pleasant as it is outside so you get a view of the farm. The kitchen is open and the chefs are hard at work. There’s one chef, he usually wears a red hat and sports a moustache, who always catches my eye.
The menu always changes which is so fun, but don’t worry, there’s always a common thread in terms of mains. I will always favour the fish! I adore how I feel coming away from a meal at Sunflower; my stomach is satisfied but not sickly full.
I most recently took my Dad to celebrate a new job, and it was his first time. It was so cool to get to see him enjoy the food so much!
Thank you Sunflower Cafe, Maple Ridge’s finest :)

I wanted to try this place since last year, was supper excited as the reviews and pics were amazing. I had high hopes as the Fraser valley has amazing restaurants like restaurant 62.
Let’s say it’s not worth the hype. It’s cute, the idea is great. I was expecting way better.
Let’s start with the food. We got the tasting menu, it’s 85 per person plus the pairing wine. So I knew it was going to be around 300+ dinner wich is not an issue if the food is good.
we arrived at 7:00 we said we wanted the tasting menu and the first dish was at 7:05 usually don’t mind the food to be fast but it was so quick, the bread and cucumber salad arrived first and after like 5 minutes the 3 salads came together.
We both had individual tasting menus so we expected our own dinner, they ended up bringing both of our meals together, so we had to share. My friend has a thing for sharing, she wasn’t happy. They need to serve individual dishes per person, the menu never indicating sharing..
The salads were fine but they all tasted the same, the beet and potatoes salad had some type of tzatziki sauce( not sure but is the best I can describe it at) same with the green beans. The tomatoes cucumber salad had some lime and olive oil sauce, supper simple, usually don’t mind this at home, but if I’m paying 85 dollars per person and sharing this, I expect them to taste better.
Then We had a single zucchini to share AGAIN. I guess if you go alone you get half LOL.
it was okay but then again some type of tzatziki sauce with pesto and feta. I had seen so much variety on the reviews online, I was expecting more than just simple salads for four of the dishes. Just felt cheated.
Then came the mains, we had their version of fish and chips. This was my least favorite. It was dry and it tasted like I could cook it at home. The skewer of beef at the end was the best dish, it was great but it was just a single Skewer of
Meat with some salad, it was just so small. The desert was okay, nothing special.
My favorite part was the wine pairing, 5 drinks for 55 is pretty good but the food is just not there. I get it it’s farm to table, but they need to do something better with the veggies, can’t throw different vegies, put the same sauce and call it different dishes. . I was hungry after and was not satisfied. All those vegies don’t fill up. Plus everything tasted the same, do better.
Now the service, even tho they were nice, they serve everything so fast, didn’t explain much, wine came after the first 3 salads. We had no time to enjoy, we felt rushed. At the end when we finished desert, they brought the bill so quick, and the tip options didn’t go below 20%. It’s an overhyped restaurant with pretty food that dosent taste great. If you want good farm
To table, just try restaurant 62, or any winery around the area that grows their own vegies. Cheaper and better. 5/10
All the pics below is what you get for 2 people at the price of 360

The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing. Staff were attentive without being pushy and the location right there on the farm is absolutely stunning. The food and cocktails were fantastic but the dishes that really shone were the ones made with produce from the farm. The borscht salad is one we're going to be talking about for a while. Thank you!

Ordered the duck which was chewy, a raw tuna dish which was warm and the gnocchi which was too salty to eat. $180 later and all we enjoyed was a couple small beets in a salad.
