First time there. Server was cordial but not very friendly. We ordered sashimi and 2 rolls. The beautiful roll and the maple roll. Both were decent and tasted good. Presentation was average. Sashimi was ok, the tu a was good but the salmon was a bit fishy and in saying that I mean more than should be. We didn't finish it. The location was meh and the inside I guess the equivalent of a sushi diner type vibe. Overall ok, but there's definitely better in Maple Ridge

I was really disappointed with my order. The California rolls had a strong fishy smell, almost like they hadn't been kept fresh, and the Ichinbani roll wasn't much better. I could barely eat any of it, which felt like a waste of money. I ended up throwing away more than half of my order and was still left hungry.

The food here is actually very decent quality BUT I ordered Pick up online and was not aware there was a tip added to my final bill... I asked the owner and she gave me the answer of Too bad you should have looked before you confirmed your order.. Therefore will NOT return to get food here

The best sushi in Vancouver! The sashimi pieces are huge, and the spicy mayo salmon roll is to die for. Five stars because it's FANTASTIC value for how much you get! We got the Sashimi Bento Box, the Spicy Combo (not pictured) and the Daily Special with Salmon Sashimi, Tuna Avocado Roll and Yam Tempura.

Very delicious food and extensive menu! So many amazing choices. I was actually visiting family in Maple Ridge and decided on Sushi Guru randomly. I'm from Vancouver and I thought I had seen everything in terms of Japanese dishes but I was a bit overwhelmed (pleasantly) with all the varieties. I will definitely recommend to others.

This sushi may be too strong for some.It is in need of a few more orders, the palate it reached was reminiscent of some of my favourite places in Vancouver.
Vegetarian options: Maki rolls.. plenty of selection vegetables available.
