Excellent food, beautifully displayed. We love treating ourselves to Sushi, this is our favorite sushi restaurant. My daughter told us about Sushi Umibe. Thanks Sushi Umibe.

Food is good, service is absolutely horrible. i often go here and we always have horrible experiences but my boyfriends birthday was the last time i’ll ever go here. After having three different servers with attitude and literally just sliding food onto the table not giving it to anyone directly or bringing out meals out at the same time We were respectful as always in every restaurant but this time we left a smaller tip and when we did the lady comes back and says “what’s wrong with today?” while aggressively grabbing our plates and cups i explained that i wasn’t happy with the service and she said “ohh not happy with service hmm” and repeatedly mocked what i said to co workers as she was walking away! i’ve never left a bad review on a restaurant before but this was something else. i usually take into consideration if they are busy or maybe someone is having a hard day but for three servers to have the same attitude and it was two other tables in there - no excuses. There is one male server there and he is amazing! very very kind person - 0/10 service otherwise.

Not sure why you’d put cucumber under the ingredients if you don’t actually put it in the roll. Also the beef teriyaki bowl was overly sweet and had mutilated, almost ground beef on top. Overall pretty bad food and definitely won’t order again.

Dining and food are great, however the service is horrible. The “owner/manager” has incredibly rude attitude when you ask for things.. I also had my one year old with me and she had gotten attitude and visibly frustrated my son was upset while I was trying to calm him. Incredibly rude. Don’t come here. Don’t continue your serving job if you hate it. As a human being, I would never treat another mother with an upset child the way she did. Absolutely outrageous behaviour.

The lunch combo box with the chicken teriyaki is amazing. For the price and portion its hard to beat around Maple Ridge so definitely would recommend Sushi Umibe.. but remember to have a big appetite hehe

Disappointed with the visit. Ordered the deluxe lunch set — salad was soggy and chicken overcooked. The biggest issue was the service. Our waitress had a bad attitude. When my friend’s son took a bit longer to order, she walked away without saying a word. During our one-hour meal, tea was refilled once and kids’ water not at all. I said thank you after paying, and she didn’t respond. First bad experience here, which is really disappointing.
