Being a Japanese food fancier, I would say that the quality of the sushi served was average. Portions were not generous. I ordered take out and my Bento box salad was a tiny morsel not even a mouthful! Quality of the sashimi was average and it was noticeable that it was farm sourced, thawed from frozen and not freshly served

Our favourite sushi place in Maple Ridge/ Pitt Meadows area. The servers and chefs are all so lovely, and the food is so fresh and delicious. Prices are at the higher end of sushi places in the area, but well worth it. We always leave happy and full!

Parking: It’s a big open air mall parking lot. Lots of space close to the restaurant every time we’ve been.

Kid-friendliness: The servers are attentive and kind with our young kids, and the chefs often play peekaboo from the kitchen which my daughter finds absolutely hilarious! They’re such gems!!

Recommended dishes: Dynamite Roll, Sushi, Roll, Miso Soup, Salmon Oshi

This is my second online order! The E party is sublime! I love the online site, it’s easy and you can see what you’re ordering! I am delighted with the platter, I did not eat in the restaurant but when we go to pick up our order the staff is really nice and resourceful.

Delicious and professional

Nice people but same as any others they don't give deals for multiple purchases and they have very steep prices I stuck with tbe black market buy for a quick emergency I may go there.

I so wanted to find a new sushi place that is closer. Our go to is by the brick in Pitt Meadows. I ordered the spicy Chirashi Don for $28.95. It said 12 pieces Chefs choice. The 12 pieces were the size of my big thumb nail. She upsold me from the regular saying this one is better value. Hidden under some shredded veggies was cut up Atlantic salmon, sockeye salmon, seared tuna, tuna and tamago. It was the equivalent of 5 pieces of nigiri ….. if that. I should have just ordered 5 pieces of nigiri for $15. Sigh.

I accidentally ordered from here when I was in another city. They assured me they'd honor my order whenever I could make it into town . 2 months later I called and they remembered me and honored my order .(even though it was my mistake ) and the food was fantastic! Spicy salmon roll although simple was so fresh and tasty ! Will definitely be frequenting Sushi Bucks in the future ?
