We stopped at Sushi Bucks after my 4 year old daughter had a bad morning and an injury to her face. They treated us with such amazing attention & kindness from the moment we stepped in the door. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so relaxing and cute! They had practice chop sticks for my daughter to practice eating with. They brought her a treat of a juice box & orange dessert! In this economy finding generosity is rare! The donkotsu ramen was phenomenal! Thank you both so much, we will be back!

Recently, I got mix up with the online order and got Door Dash took over my pickup order.Consequently I lost my ten percent online order discount.When I still don't understand what is going on. A very beautiful lady helps me to resolve my question. She is really professional and write down my phone number and order number. Telling me my question will get answers. No more than a few days. She calls me and leave me a very detailed reason why I don't have my 10% online dicount because I made my order outside Sushi Bucks website.I am still very amazed their food, service and the restaurant environment.My wife and I will definitely visit Sushi Bucks again and again. Great job Sushi Bucks, you are now our number 1 Japanese restaurant in Maple Ridge. Thank you.
Delicious unique rolls, Sushibucks quickly became our go-to favourite for our weekly takeout. Unfortunately it’s become disappointing with their prices rising considerably (and changing so often), we will be ordering much less frequently.

Wow food here very delicious. Had Beef Terryaki with Miso soup, may be best Ive had! Miso & Tea also amazing. Had great a great selection of appies, salads, rolls/specialty rolls, rolll combos, noodles, nigiri, cones, soup etc and even had healthier upgrades like black rice and wild Sockeye salmon. Since the new owners took over in Dec 2023 I definitely noticed a major drop in quality of sushi. Firstly, the salmon mountain roll comes with 1/3 less salmon, less sauce, and poorly fried crispy potato on top for the same price. Secondly, their Ebi (tiger shrimp) is noticably smaller, lower quality, and prepared much worse than how the previous owners did it. Their sweet chili boneless chicken was also a big disappointment with the flavor and texture being completely off. Overall a major drop off in quality. I've been going here for over a year and since the takeover I completely stopped after 3 tries. Definitely not the same place it was. What a shame. They also didn't give me miso soup twice for the lunch special that includes 1 special roll, 1 appi, and 1 miso.

Okay so I gave them a 3. I gave them a 3 because I was craving sushi today and my boyfriend asked to try something new. So I suggested sushi bucks over the other choices as their pictures online looked the most promising.Turns out I’ve ordered from them before, I just didn’t remember because it wasn’t memorable. If you’re looking for a the best sushi joint in Ridge this is not it.. it’s mediocre at best. Even if I went to eat in I can assure you it would have the same appeal. Everything I got Togo was great temperature wise. But just left me with the same thought I’m sure I had last time, not going back!

I've ever been to It was the best sushi restaurant. The sushi was also very thick and sliced into big pieces. Frying is crispy. If you drink a glass of traditional Japanese liquor sake, you won't be envious of the king table.The staff who worked there were very kind. I didn't know much about sushi, but the detailed explanation and recommendation were great. I highly recommend it.?
