My new go-to place in Maple Ridge for a quick coffe and something to eat. Great atmosphere, even better service and never any waiting in line. Very happy I decided to pop in and try it out! Would definitely recommend!

Stumbled upon this place on google and had to try, I usually get an iced mocha and the chocolate chip cookie from here and they are both great! Staff is very friendly and make a good cup of coffee. 10/10

The Nut is a guaranteed stop every weekend. My go to order is the Iced Almond Hazlenut Mocha - always a treat!

The overall vibe is sleek yet cozy and the coffee is great. I love seeing whats posted on the community board and have recently noticed some in house events, i'm looking forward to attending one soon.😊

Kid-friendliness: There is a little area in the corner that has toys for kids. The ground is hard though so be mindful of falls.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy!

My wife and I stopped in to The Nut Coffee Shop today for a salted caramel latte and a caramel macchiato. The service was excellent and the store was very clean and modern inside. About 100 meters away from the bus loop located in downtown Maple Ridge this will for sure be a spot I visit more often!

If you’re looking for a cute and pleasant coffee experience this isn’t it. Coffee was good but the customer service was embarrassing. The girl couldn’t put her phone down instead of just making my coffee or having a conversation.

My friend and I were looking for place to sit, have coffee and chat. Then she remember somebody mentioned to her this place. We decided to give it a try and this turned to be a mistake. We ordered coffees and bought some treats. We sat down waiting for a coffee. When coffees were ready only then we were informed that they are closing in 15 minutes as they have shorter opening hours today, something she never mentioned when we were putting order in. If we knew that we would just found different place. When we said that this should be mentioned when we were putting order, girl's working there attitude was far from proper customer service. Her suggestion was that we could go to courtyard to have our coffee. "Great suggestion" while it was raining and quite cold. We are not going back there ever again with this kind of customer service. On the other note cookies we ordered weren't quality which would make us want to go back there as well.

I regularly stopping here for coffee and sometimes to get a baked good... Courteous staff great location. And the hands open the washroom is amazing!

Wheelchair accessibility: It's ground level doors are wide enough to get a wheelchair in. Not powered so someone will have to open the door... Easy to get to from the street

Great coffee. The person providing service wasn't at all friendly and could work on her customer service.

My favorite café! I visit almost weekly. I love supporting our local businesses. They have fantastic coffee (especially the nut latte) and the cozy atmosphere. The only reason for my 4-star rating is the seating – while the chairs are okay, they're often full, and the benches could really use some cushions, as they are extremely uncomfortable. I also wish they would bring back more savory options, like the cheddar scones they used to carry, as all of their current offerings are on the sweeter side. Hopefully, they’ll consider these suggestions!

Clean and spacious coffee shop, baristas often smiling, and always very polite. Good coffee, urban atmosphere with easy accessibility.

Friendly staff and great drink selection. Really liked the strawberry iced tea.

The new owner was really helpful and nice as well.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

I’m really sorry to say that my visit to The Nut in Maple Ridge was far from pleasant. Unfortunately, it was THE WORST customer service I have experienced in Canada!

The staff member who took my order was notably unhelpful and rude. I had some questions about their treats, as I was considering ordering for myself and two guests. However, when I noticed that the items didn’t seem fresh, I decided to just order coffee. This seemed to upset the staff member, who responded by handing me the card payment machine in a very abrupt and rude manner.

To make matters worse, my previous experience with their meals was also disappointing. The quality just wasn’t up to standard. Given these issues, I can’t recommend The Nut based on my experiences. There are way better options in the area! super dissapointed!

Nice little shop. The one young lady working there was very nice and working hard to make everything fast and the way we liked. Thanks so much!
