We’ve been coming here for years except the last few as we decided to branch out and try other local Italian restaurants. Needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, service and ambience. Glad we made a reservation tho or we wouldn’t have gotten our favorite table as it was busy for a Friday. Food was excellent and happy to see extra staff on. Portions are huge. Prepare for leftovers if you order the pasta. Desserts phenomenal ( tiramisu and chocolate cheesecake) and drinks were generous.
My son was set on celebrating his birthday at La Trattoria and it exceeded our expectations.
They also have a kids menu so although you may want a date night don’t hesitate to bring the kids. We will be back.

i ate their twice this week....the $15 fudge toffee desert...small and $15 ....did you here me $15....The veal with apple tonite was chewy.....probably needed to be marinated or something....portions are decent and price point just shy of $40...to me seems excessive...Great selection of wines....Seat are hard wood covered in fabric with no foam...very hard....both times i ate their just one other table occupied mid week.....would not repeat.....the selection of pasta alone dishes in the $20 price point maybe be better......While pitched as fine dining it lacks for that label......i even found the vegetables to be boring

Great place to enjoy a quaint, cozy, and fine dining of authentic Italian food. It was the best Italian food that I had in many years. They made everything from scratch, even the sauces. The price was decent, and the quantity was good. Service was exceptional.

Our waiter, he was amazing. Older gentleman took his time and made our family feel welcome. It was our first visit and we will be back. Loved the food as well. 😎✌️

Our server was super friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time. The food was excellent. Wine was excellent. Atmosphere was quiet and low key. Highly underrated!

We arrived early about a quarter after 5 and we were seated in a mostly empty dining room. Though it didn't take long for tables to fill up. On Saturday night I recommend a reservation

I had the taster menu which consists of 5 courses. I'm not sure at this moment if the bread and balsamic sauce is counted as a course. The bread is a little bit dry

The server while extremely polite and knowledgeable about the specials. He seemed to struggle a little and needed help from another server to decide where to seat people.

The first course came on a platter with brochette pesto and other goodness. As it arrived to the table the smell was amazing. Calamari was slightly tough but had a great flavor and was seasoned very well. I don't typically eat tomatoes but the tomato brochette tasted fresh and invited my taste buds to enjoy tomatoes in a way I never have in my fifty years. I did notice some chips and cracks in the serving platter.

The next course consist of linguini pesto , spaghetti trattoria and pene roset Served on heated plate. The spaghetti has a nice spicy kick. My partner was not thrilled with the pesto and found the p4ne to be her favorite. I found the pesto lacking slightly though I cannot decide what it lacked. It does add a coolness to the mouth after eating the spaghetti. It's unfortunate that they used store bought Parmesan cheese. Fresh Parmesan would have been better.

Next was a salad that we think was meant to be Cesar and a fennel with vinaigrette

I personally don't drink but I did notice an extensive wine menu. Much of the dining room appears to be place to store wine. There are cabinets and shelves throughout that give the impression of a strong connection with both red and white wines.
